“This place has everything it needs to be great. Staff is overworked at least at the main bar. No pleasantries, no small talk, just work. Nothing personable about the staff, they all just "do the job" this place lacks that personal feel. The bartender/tenders were all so overwhelmed there was no sense of comradery, they were professional but completely lacked any sense of "getting to know the customer or creating an experience for the customer." it was very black and white, it felt stiff and jarring to ask for anything. Food was great, had the lobster bisque, Caesar salad, Crab cocktail and Wagyu beef carpaccio. only suggestion on the food was that they crab cocktail be served in a martini glass, the cabbage hides the crab, and it makes you wonder "what the hell is that?" The Wagyu beef carpaccio was great, just a little over kill on the arugula and parmesan cheese, let the meat do the talking not the toppings.“
“This is mine and my husband's second time here to celebrate another special occasion. The first time was back in 2021 and we really enjoyed it. We enjoyed it so much we wanted to come back and try one of their speciality dinner as our meal. We ordered the Beef Wellington. We called 24 hours in advance to request it for our meal. When we were seated, we were greeted and thanked for considering them for our special occasion. The servers brought out a griddled focaccia bread in olive oil, along with ricotta cheese, olives and peppers. It was very delicious and even our three year old who joined us for dinner really enjoyed it. We didn't have to wait long for the Beef Wellington to arrive at our table. We probably only waited 30 minutes or less before it was brought out to us. We ordered it medium as it was my husband's birthday and he likes his steaks medium. I would have preferred it was medium well. There were parts that were slightly chewy than others but I really think that had to do with how my husband wanted it cooked. It was still delicious especially eating it in that puff pastry. The beef Wellington accompanied our dinner with two shareable sides. We ordered the cacio e pepe and the creamed corn au gratin. Now I have had the cacio e Pepe before and didn't think too much of it but this second time was definitely different. It was so much more delicious the second time I had it. I felt like it had more of a buttery cheese taste to it than the first time I had it. The creamed corn was savory. The taste of the creamed corn had a deep and rich taste to it almost like eating au gratin potatoes. For dessert my husband ordered the crème brûlée. I have had crème brûlée at another steakhouse and it was not even close to being as good as we had at Marcel. Marcel's crème brûlée is absolutely divine. The dish was deep enough for our spoon to go down into and it was delicious. The restaurant is quite dark, too dark for me, even when heading to the bathroom. But I do understand that steakhouses usually have low lighting for the ambiance.“
“Sorry I didn't take pics. I was here on a work related dinner. But I wanted to give a review anyway. The bread was to die for. Might not be the best choice of words since it was toasted and LOADED with butter. But so so good. You probably really won't die if you don't make it a nightly event Followed by one of the best chopped salads I've ever had. Finely chopped, small pits of celery to give it a crunch, and loaded with the dressing of your choice. Paired with the bread, an amazing experience. But again, the health factor? Well, you only live once... I had the 12 Oz. Filet. Very thick, yet somehow cooked to perfection. Salt and pepper crust, probably butter (again). The best example of why I love fillet mignon. Tender, flavorful, hard to stop eating. I took half home in a doggy bag. Perfectly baked Mac 'n cheese as a side. Toasty top. Perfect. But remember, I had the salad, so don't judge me. The house old fashions were strong and not too sweet. 8 of 10 stars. The service couldn't be better. If I was forced to complain about anything, it would have to be the lighting. It was just a little darker than I'd like. BTW, my co- worker had the 20 Oz. Bone in rib-eye. He ate the whole thing. He looked me in the eye with a small tear and a curious blend of delight and misery. He said he was way too full, but he couldn't stop eating it. LOL. I guess it was pretty good too! Steaks average $70, but when you consider they are big enough for two people or one meal and a generous doggy bag, I don't think it's over priced. Go here. Just run a mile or two the next day!“
“We ordered appetizers and sides for dinner. We had to wait 40 minutes for a side dish order. Our waiter explained that the kitchen was backed up. Not an acceptable answer when you go to a high end restaurant. That is what I expected from Mcdonald's. I have not been happy the last few times we have been there. Always enjoyed it but the service now is sub par at best“
“The atmosphere was dimly lit, a real nice quiet place to take a Date. Very pricey but worth the time. Validated parking. The food was very good, service was excellent. The Bathroom was very clean. The waiter was very professional. Had a wonderful time !“
“My husband Tyler and I were there for our 13th anniversary! Dan was our server and his recommendations were amazing! He was very professional, kind, and knowledgeable! We had an amazing dinner and a special dessert to end the night on a sweet note! Thank you to everyone at Chops who made our night one to remember!“
“We were recommended this restaurant by a local foodie group, and were very impressed with the food and service. Our waiter, Jesse, was fantastic - very knowledgeable and had great recommendations for us to try. We will absolutely dine here again when we come back into town.“
“We receive a gift card every year for the past three. We live 170 miles away and look forward to visiting but have only visited once and it was amazing. Food and service both was outstanding and now with two years of gift cards we have got to get in there and probably bring the family.“
“Booked my husband’s 47th birthday celebration at the recommendation of my cousin. We are from Florida, so this suggestion was needed. The atmosphere was relaxing, elegant, and peaceful. The lighting added to the ambience. The chairs were comfortable and inviting. The food was without imperfections. The wait staff were very professional, informative, & helpful.Fine dining indeed! Highly recommended!! 5*****“
“It's my birthday weekend and I'm celebrating it at the Ritz-Carlton. It's my first time here and I was not disappointed. I'm a firm believer that the service makes the experience and what a wonderful experience it was. From the greeting of the valet team, the upgrade in room, to the delicious dinner, and the live entertainment with drinks on hand in the lounge. I can't recall the name of our server but he was such amazing man that went out of his way to make sure my birthday dinner was special! Thank you to all the staff at the Ritz-Carlton for making my birthday memorable! Thank you! Thank you!“
“We ate here for lunch last Sunday. We walked in around noon and sat at the empty bar for quick service. Noticed there weren't that many people eating there, maybe a couple of other tables. Their draft beer selection was okay, but the bartender didn't know how to pour a proper beer... Service was a bit slow, but the food was pretty good especially the crispy calamari with some hot sauce. The steakhouse burger was not bad, but the fries weren't that fresh and hot.“
“This experience was a top tier!!! They were welcoming and accommodating, our party size changed throughout the day and they welcomed us with open arms. The presentation from the drinks to the food was exceptional and tasty. Our waitress Kyaira was knowledgeable, prompt and attentive, thanks for making my friend birthday memorable!!!“
“Stopped in for a quick bite and cocktail before my flight. Heather was my server, she was amazing! Very attentive to me and suggested a great drink for me. Moscow Mule…very good drink and exactly what I needed. Thanks for a great experience Heather!! You are super at what you “
“The atmosphere was very nice and all staff members were friendly and very efficient. The food was delicious! I ordered the salmon meal and my husband ordered a burger and fries. We appreciated that the bread and entrees were so fresh and hot. We would definitely dine there again.“
“My husband and I went to C. Ellet’s for dinner. We had the ribeye, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. The food was excellent. Their service was also very good too. I liked the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to go back!“
“Stopped by here for lunch as we were traveling thru Atlanta and we are so glad we did! The food was amazing and so fresh. I had the salmon and it was seriously so good! If you are in the area be sure to check them out. You won’t regret it!“
“I placed an online order. The food was amazing. However, it was not ready when I arrived so I stepped to the side to allow other customers to place and pick up orders. I waited for about 35 minutes only to realize that my food at been brought out at some point but they had not alerted me that it was available. The result was lukewarm food (that was still amazing).“
“Both times I've been in the past 5 months, the service has been great. I came for my birthday in December 2023, and then again with a friend in March 2024. Servers were attentive and friendly. Loved the food, but I would stick to the steaks and burgers, what's tried and true.“
“I was thoroughly impressed. Carla was super sweet and Louis prepped my ribeye perfectly. My ribeye was cooked to perfection with a mixture of juiciness and seared outside. I would come back here again just for that steak. The wedge salad was unique with the avocado ranch dressing and large bacon portions. The mashed potatoes were also a hit. I was shocked to see such a low review for this place based on my experience. Amazingly moist cheesecake.“
“Steak was amazing (sorry forgot exactly which I orded). Brussel sprouts were so good, they were almost better than the steak. Caught a drink at the outside bar before we were seated. Vibes were top tier and the bartenders were super knowledgeable and friendly.Parking: Valet is the only option I saw. I think they asked for tip only.“
