“We stopped in for lunch today and the food was so good and the staff was so friendly. We were here on vacation and Beachcomber was an absolute favorite on the island. Definitely the nicest staff out of all the places we’ve been to also. The guy with a ninja turtle tattoo especially.“

“My green beans and sweet tea were delicious. My beef brisket sandwich was all fat. I threw most of it away. I ordered the BBQ pork egg rolls and did not receive them but paid for them. This was a drive thru order. I should have made sure everything was there before popping back on 95.“

“Absolutely gem of a place in Jekyll island. Tucked away in Jekyll Market, this small unsuspecting place produces some high quality food. Evelyn and Dawson were working that day and showed us nothing but kindness and generosity! We got the pulled pork and yard bird with some mozzarella sticks and everything was spectacular. Definitely worth the stop while on the island.“

“My family and I were passing through. Decided to stop because we were getting hungry. And found this place. We walked in, and the cashier looked at us, then spoke. When I went to ask questions, she was making faces at me like I was speaking French. I had to let her know, we're not from around there and what does she suggested. It was awkward to me. I wished I felt welcomed, but maybe it was the area. You can have signs that have warming words, but actions speak louder. The atmosphere was ok.
The food was good. My kids thought they were going to take a while and walked to Gamestop.
Food came, and I immediately ate my okra, lol. My pulled pork barbecue was ok, I'm not going to lie. North Carolina still has the best barbecue.
They had this hot sauce that was delicious, so delicious I asked if they sold the hot sauce as well as the barbecue sauce.
Overall, in my opinion, it was good. I liked the presentation of my son's plate with the loaded fries.“

“I went rather late to dinner and when I got there, it took a good little while before someone greeted me and then seated me. Then once I got seated it was a little while before my waiter showed up but he was sweet and took good care of me thereafter. The food was excellent as always. The atmosphere was a little bland. There were a lot of large groups there tonight but they weren't noisy. They just took up the staff's time, energy, and attention. I don't normally go this late in the evening so I don't know if this is normal or not. I would go again earlier in the evening.“
