“In my opinion, the best restaurant on the Island. Been here since 2005 and never had a bad meal here. They always have interesting specials; their “regular” items are consistently good. And if you tire of seafood, their prime rib roast is excellent. Don't miss it if you visit SSI.“

Service was average, I had called days in advance to reserve indoor window seating to celebrate our Anniversary. I had planned a whole “thing” I was going to do near the stunning view of the window for the wife. When we arrived they pulled our information and one lady asked us “indoor or outdoor?” The other hostess told her the system said “indoor with window seating” and gave her a look of disappointment. As they walked me to my sitting area it was not window seating and table was wobbly. I was unable to do my whole “thing” I had planned and just started off the evening not on a good start, but drinks made up for it 🤷‍♂️😒“

“What a wonderful place. Me and my partner felt safe in such a welcoming and friendly environment. The decoration were the best. We had such a good time we spent way more than planned and wasn't able to leave a good tip 😢😓. We definitely plan to come back and will make up for it the next time!! Best experience ever!“

“Dropped by on a short day on Jeckyll Island after smelling it on a bike ride! The servers were all very kind and our main sever John did a wonderful job. He and the rest of the staff were very friendly and seemed happy to welcome everyone visiting to the island. I order the spinach salad with blackened chicken and fell in love with the candied walnuts. My finance got a grilled chicken sandwich and raved about the quality of the chicken. Both his and my chicken were juicy and seasoned very well. A great place to grab a bite if you’re on the island!“

“We had a wonderful dinner at 80 Ocean. The gluten-free menu is excellent, and they’re very accommodating—happy to modify dishes if needed. I had a side salad and the redfish, which came with creamed corn and mushrooms. Everything was flavorful and beautifully prepared. We also shared the gluten-free meatballs and GF rolls—both were fantastic!

My husband ordered the crab cakes (not gluten-free) and the cream cheese mashed potatoes, which he really enjoyed.

The ambiance was lovely, especially with the outdoor seating near the pool area we were just inside the doors in a small nook that was quaint. A special shoutout to the kind young man opening the front door—he was a delight. We ended up having a great conversation with him while waiting for our hotel shuttle, and it meant a lot, especially since he was working on the 4th of July.

Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and dietary needs, though he seemed a bit rushed and not overly friendly. It was a busy holiday, so we completely understand and appreciate the service regardless.
