“Best restaurant in Georgia Everything on the menu is fresh, delicious, healthy and reasonably priced. I live on Saint Simons Island and eat there almost every day. Everyone from the management to the staff are hard-working, friendly and do a fantastic job. If you give it a try it will be your favorite restaurant. You will not be disappointed and Barbara Jean and Jim Barta Will see to it that you are super satisfied.“

“One of the best meals I've eaten in awhile. Every single thing we tried was incredible, from the red snapper to the blackened shrimp to the red beans & rice and bread pudding. Our server (I think her name was Miranda) had the best recommendations and made our meal truly incredible. My husband and I can't stop talking about it. What a fun, indulgent, and celebratory place!“

“Finally went to The Ocean Lodge last night with my great friend, and we were both so pleasantly surprised. The views are simply spectacular, and to be honest the food,music, and drinks were totally amazing! I was expecting very little with the food and the service, but it was phenomenal. I was very impressed and can’t wait to go back.“

“What a wonderful treat dining in The Lodge at Sea Island Oak Room was for my wife and I. We stopped in on a slow post-Thanksgiving weekday evening and were treated to a wonderful delicious dinner. Our server Cericka was excellent. We were seated quickly by the hostess and ordered two Prosecco's. We enjoyed a delicious mini biscuits with bacon butter appetizer. My wife ordered a wonderful 6oz filet with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted autumn veggies, and scallion steak sauce. I ordered the blackened Redfish with crab fried rice, green gumbo, and pickled Okra. Both entrees were served hot and were delicious. Bon Appetit“

“I dont give out 5 stars easy. But this fish ,shrimp plate is amazing. Huge helping. I got the 2 meat combo of shrimp and flounder with fries and coleslaw slaw and a drink. For $24. Brother and sister business. They had their training under their dad ,Jay. This is good food. Worth the drive. Mostly take out but inside eating too. I'LL BE BACK REGULARLY.“

“I’m a very opinionated person and I’m tough to be completely impressed with a restaurant, but this place was awesome. I was at first concerned as my family was would we like the food. Well just to let everyone know if you like trying new stuff or like to experience different food this is the place to go. I’ve never gave a restaurant a 5 thumbs up 👍🏼, but I was so impressed and my 12 year old granddaughter was also as much as my cousin and her 17 year old daughter. The vibe was awesome the waitress and manager made us feel so welcome even the hostess was really friendly. We sat outside and it was so relaxing and cozy. I can’t even brag enough on the food, workers, and the atmosphere there. We are already planning birthday trips and having family join us for the experience. Go try for yourself and have an open mind about the food. We were like ummm not so sure, but the blends were out of this world. ❤️🙌🙌“

“The Glynn Academy Girl's Golf Team won the 6A State Championship on Tuesday, May 17, at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. They chose to celebrate together at Marshside afterwards. Once the waitress/owner found out they were State Champs, they put all of their meals on the house. What a super generous thing for them to do to show their support for their local High School! Thank you Marshside & Go Terrors!“

“I was in Brunswick for a funeral, the repass was held at this restaurant. My wife and I truly enjoyed the meal. The place is very clean and the waitress was very friendly and attentive to our needs. There is a large variety of food choices: meats, vegetables, starches and desserts. The next time we our traveling from Florida going north we plan to definitely stop by Ole Time Country Buffet.“

“This restaurant is amazing. If you get lunch ask for Sarah! And if you are going for dinner ask for Salina. Impeccable service, and environment, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant while visiting visiting ST Simon“
“They have a nice variety of chicken salad to choose from. I got the Jalapeno Holly because I like spicy foods. As usual, it was delicious. I got one scoop and it comes with some crackers, a dill pickle spear and a little yummy shortbread cookie. If you want something outside of the usual fast food choices, check them out!“

I don’t understand why you’d put a cold coleslaw and potato salad on the bottom of the container and put hot ribs on top it… so you made the hot items a lil cooler but made the cold items warm… there was a bag to put the cold stuff in, away from the hot items, so why????? Please don’t mix cold and hot… not everyone eats the food in the car.
There has been a few mistakes lately.
Yesterday she did not even get her coleslaw.

4Star- They were friendly. Super Fast! The food was good… really good… just one thing.. they did not give me any sauce for my pulled pork. Every other restaurant gives you their sweet stuff or ask you. That was a major let down! I didn’t know I had to ask. I would think it’s common to give it. Sauce is always given.“

“stopped in for some dinner with my wife. our server was deanna and i just have to say, our experience was top tier with her great customer service and she just had the best personality! the food was good, our service was better! all in all, my wife and i had a great experience. if you stop by, i highly recommend asking if deanna can be your server, i promise you won’t be disappointed!“
