Some of the most painfully expensive food in Savannah. Yes there are 5 star restaurants all over Savannah, but this place is actually pretending that 4 pieces of fried thighs and two grilled chicken breasts and a chicken salad is worth $59. I am so sick of these needlessly expensive restaurants pretending that the cost of food is true to the value they claim. $15 for a chicken sandwich that with NO sides? $3.60 for a SINGLE oyster? As often written about the food is quite good. However, I strongly recommend they remove the “family” from their restaurant name. This establishment, that is based wholly on fried chicken apparently “does not cater to kids”. That was the response we got when we asked if they have a kids menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 bird plate and biscuits. The best fried chicken we've ever had actually. We were not disappointed. Portions were generous. Staff was the most knowledgeable and friendliest that we've ever experienced and we travel a lot and always try local eateries.
