The service and atmosphere at the Municipal Bar is very cool and retro, still incorporating the tile and other accoutrements from the previous owners, the city of Savannah water company. We ordered drinks from a very well-stocked bar, the sourdough dumplings, and the Municipal burger! The drinks were excellent, the sourdough dumplings were fantastic, and the burger…well, it was served lukewarm to be generous. Definitely the Municipal Bar is a must visit!

Sierra our server was amazing. Delicious appetizers, drinks, and don’t miss the hamburger. Make sure you ask for Sierra to be your server. She’s a delight and a real asset to the restaurant

The Municipal Bar has a very cool and retro atmosphere, still incorporating the tile and other accoutrements from the previous owners, the city of Savannah water company. The bar is very well-stocked, and the drinks are excellent. Guests can enjoy happy hour cocktails before ordering dinner when food service begins at 5pm. The food is amazing and excellent. The sourdough dumplings are fantastic, and the fries are a perfect snack, extra crispy. The hamburger is a must, though the Municipal burger was served lukewarm. The salad was mostly lettuce, and instead of the advertised heirloom tomatoes, two tiny cherry tomatoes were given. The Sazerac was a favorite cocktail, along with the Vieux Carre and La Rosita. The service is helpful, kind, fun, pleasant, and better. The atmosphere is nice. The hostess was not particularly friendly or welcoming. The server was a delight and a real asset. The bartender did a lovely job. This was a second visit, and guests can't wait to come back. Definitely a must visit!
