“Vinnie Van Go-Go’s was recommended to me years ago when I first visited Savannah. On my most recent trip I had to stop again. It STILL does not disappoint. The pizza by the slice is a large portion, not only a great value for the money, it’s the best pizza!! Don’t miss this OG staple when visiting town, you won’t regret it. “We ordered a veggie, a bbq chicken + jalapeños and a pepperoni. All of them were delicious and the specialty ones were probably visually the most beautiful pizzas I have seen. I will say that the veggie, while toppings were ratio’d perfectly, was a little lacking in the sauce department. It needs just a wee bit more flavor + probably a little more sauce but it was still one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten. The crust for all was a good thickness on the outer portion, gets floppy and thin at the middle but again, still insanely good and it didn’t stop me from inhaling it. My husband says we ordered from here once previously but apparently it was not memorable for me. It was this time. Highly recommend supporting this family-owned small business if you live in the area“

“Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish! This pizzeria delivers on every level — the food is fresh, high-quality, and bursting with amazing flavors. Every bite tastes like it was made with care and attention to detail.
A special shoutout to the manager, Kevin, who truly goes above and beyond. He is incredibly attentive, polite, and consistently professional, making the entire experience feel welcoming and seamless. It’s rare to find service this genuine and thoughtful.
As for the pizza — perfection. My personal favorite is the All-American, while my husband can’t get enough of the Meat & Greet. Both are outstanding and keep us coming back for more.
Highly recommend this pizzeria if you’re looking for incredible food and top-notch service. It’s a must-visit! 🍕👏“

“What a neat food court! I have never been to one like this before. You enter one way and they open a tab for you. You go through the food court and order what you want. And when you exit, that’s when you pay your tab. I will say with that method, it’s easy to spend money here. We went to 3 different restaurants and none of them told us our total. Just said they added it to the tab. Granted, we could have asked. We ordered from bowties and the food was fresh & hot. Beware it does have a tang to it. Maybe lime or vinegar? I’m glad I tried it but I would not order it again. This juice on the other hand was delicious! It did cost $10 for a 12 oz. I was hesitant spending that much on juice. But it’s actually very filling. I drank about 1/3 of it over 3 days. I’d definitely recommend it!“

“In town for business nearby on River Street. I googled “best poboy near me” for a suggestion and Spanky’s popped up. Decent shrimp poboy.
Great for a quick business lunch. Fast, fresh, and tasty. I can’t give the food more than 4 stars because the sauce on the poboy wasn’t Cajun at all; plus they had an inferior Ketchup compared to the great Heinz Ketchup.
During lunchtime Spanky’s had more of a dark dive bar vibe, despite its location on River Street.
Apparently, Spanky’s invited the chicken tender. But we didn’t try them.“

“I have severe food allergies. I have only eaten out once this year in January. I am very leery of eating out because my food allergies are sneaky and it’s very difficult to avoid. I reached out to the pizzeria and spoke to Kyle. I told him my allergy and what I was thinking about ordering. He was very knowledgeable and kind. Explained everything and honestly put my mind at ease. I had the margarita pizza and it was DELICIOUS! For others with food allergies, you know how hard it is to find a place you enjoy and the food actually tastes good. Very excited that I have found a place that I can go enjoy with family!“

“Costanzo's is about as good as you'll get in Savannah. There are no other good pizza places in all Savannah. Places like Vinny Go Go try to pass a cheese sandwich off as pizza! Being from New Jersey, I'm glad we found this place. Their pizza is not the best, but for the deep south, Costanzo's is a winner overall.“

“I like their food, but the pasta salad recently has been disappointing. The pasta is consistently undercooked and they barely have put enough sauce. Feels like I’m eating undercooked green and orange pasta with plain broccoli and no sauce. I still try it every now and then. Recently is was better, pasta still had that undercooked and grainy texture but the flavor’s good“

“First, the manager that waited on us was very good and accommodating - that was great. The taste of the food, the flavors, and the freshness of the fruit topping were all good. HOWEVER - A few things were "off" though: 1) I was handed a breakfast menu just before switching to brunch time and my menu had noticeable food/soiling on it on both sides. When I asked the host for a clean menu, she switched to the brunch but that menu also had a sticky mark on it. 2) When my wife joined and pulled the table toward her, she ended up putting her hand on something messy/sticky on her end of the table and on the side - not a good sign for proper cleaning. 3) The food was delivered barely warm - especially the French toast. My wife requested the maple syrup to be warmed up and they forgot to do that so she had cold French toast with room temp syrup. My avocado toast has a cold pouched egg on top. Overall, not a strong impression for this moderately pricey eating experience.“

“My husband and I love Rachel's. When looking at homes a year ago in Georgetown we stopped in and Pat waited on us. We fell in love with the staff, drinks and food!! “Randomly stopped in on our way home and ended up getting some of the best pizza ever! The gentleman at the front was so kind and made sure to give us the biggest slices. “Although the door dasher did not deliver my food I called manager and Jamese was so kind and got me connected with Chrissy the manager. After jumping through hoops and getting my credits back so I could reorder. I had ordered a very large order for all the nursing staff caring for me the driver marked the order as delivered and did not bring my food or answer any calls or messages. I spent a great deal of time on the phone with door dash and they finally got the credits issued and I tried ordering again I called Chrissy and told her the issue and she was so kind and said she would go out of her way to ensure it got me and helped me for future orders. The second order is on the way and I could't be more disappointed in the first driver but I am SO THANKFUL for kind people like Jamese and Chrissy changing my attitude from upset to laughing. The world needs more people like that. I order there ever time I'm near the area in the hospital and they made a customer for life today. The food is always delicious and I can't say enough about how truly kind the workers at Allyannas are! This a picture of my dinner from last night. I'm telling you it's so good I order it all the time. Thanks for making a difficult frustrating situation better!“

“This was an awesome experience. The food was amazing. A little pricey though but it was a special night. The salad was a little too coated with the dressing, it was a bit much. The spinach and ricotta stuffed shells were drowning in the sauce. It tasted great, it just had too much sauce. The cheese curds were a bit rubbery but I guess that's how it is... I would switch that out with mozzarella cheese sticks. The garlic herb butter for the bread sticks was amazing.“

“A fantastic friend suggested this spot for a delightful meal with live music, so my wife and I decided to give it a go last Friday night—and boy, were we impressed! Cary welcomed us with such a warm smile and positive energy that we knew we were in for a special night. Following her recommendation, we ordered the potato leek soup and the Reuben sandwich, and let me tell you, it was an absolute winning combo! The corned beef was just out of this world and complemented the soup perfectly. And that Bloody Mary Cary made? It was simply extraordinary! I absolutely adored the selection of pickled garnishes she put together . The service was outstanding, and the live music was fantastic. We promised Cary we’d come back to sample everything on the menu. We expressed our gratitude for how she made our night unforgettable, and she asked us to skip the tip and just write a great review for The Snug instead—that felt like the perfect gesture! Naturally, we did both! My wife even joked about reaching out to the mayor to rave about that incredible Bloody Mary! The Snug has definitely won our hearts, and we can’t wait to return!“
