What a pleasant surprise along the River! We were strolling down River Street & noticed they had added a ton of new shops. In the past, there wasn't much left to see after passing under the tunnel but they've added a lot to this corridor. Near this end, right near the river, is a small Biergarten tucked behind the buildings. They offer all German cuisine here! It's mostly pretzels & bratwurst, but a decent selection & sides. A cool spot by the river, but that’s about it for appeal. Very pricey - two brats, two beers, a small pretzel and some sauerkraut came out to $45. Beer selection was poor when we went - three on the menu and only two actually available. No Hefeweizen or any weis beer either, just some IPAs. Biergarten in a sense that you sit at one of two white picnic tables. Decent brat selection at least.

The best pretzel I have had in a very long time. She made it hot and fresh. The cheese was ok, but the mustard was outstanding. I will say the price for the pretzel and beer are very high and you have to be on vacation to buy this but worth every penny. We went back twice they were so good!
