The food was wonderful. The decor has a lot of room to grow, presently it is very drab. The wings are nothing to write home about. They were deep fried, no batter and no seasoning. The rest of the food was wonderful. I bought a medley of food to try. The service was lacking. I ordered items as my appetizers only to have them sent out after my main meal. We had an amazing experience. I ate every last bit of the egusi with beef and fufu. Every last bit! I was coming through on a road trip and so glad I stopped. The woman was so kind and the quality of the food was excellent for a fair price. Definitely will be back
Really great food the olny thing I have against this place was the wings. I wish there was either a sauce or more seasoning on them. The flavor on that was lacking. Everything else was great.

UBUNTU AFRICAN SLICES offers wonderful food that keeps people coming back. Many enjoyed the egusi with beef and fufu, describing it as extremely flavorful and amazing. The okra with beef soup was good, though one wished it had okra, but the fufu was 10/10. The oxtails were delicious. The wings were nothing to write home about, as they were deep fried with no batter and no seasoning, and the flavor was lacking. Everything else was spectacular, phenomenal, and fresh and hot. The decor has a lot of room to grow and is very drab. The service was lacking for some, with mixed up orders, items sent out after the main meal, and a cashier who did not know what he was doing. Others had amazing service and found the person running the show helpful and kind. The food is why this place is worth a visit.
