Wet Willie's Reviews
My husband and I stopped her for lunch before we headed to Tybee beach. It was a satisfying and quick meal. He got gumbo and I got 2 tacos. Prices were reasonable and our waitress was excellent! Check out this place & the surrounding shops. It makes a fun date!
Always love a trip to Wet Willie’s! I’m not a big drinker, or a fruity drink person but on a hot day their slushies are perfect! They usually have one nonalcoholic option so my kids can get something too. I also appreciate that when we are out with our dog I can walk her in to get something and don’t have to worry about who will stand outside with her. Everyone is always so nice and welcoming…definitely one of my stops when I’m on River Steeet.
We were asked to leave because we were there too long (1 hour 15 minutes) seems racially motivated . We were the only African American patrons there . There were patrons there before we arrived and were still there after we were asked to leave…..

Wet Willie's offers a mixed dining experience with a lively atmosphere that attracts many visitors. The food quality is decent, featuring standout items like the Mudslide and tenders tossed in sauce, though some may find the prices a bit high. While the service can be slow at times, recent reviews highlight fast and friendly staff who go out of their way to treat customers well. The drinks are tasty and generously portioned, with popular frozen adult drinks like the Call a Cab that have garnered praise. Guests appreciate the strong cocktails, noting that one drink can be quite potent, especially in hot weather. The restaurant maintains a friendly and clean environment, making it a great choice for unwinding after a long day. The seating policy could use more clarity, but it may be worth the wait when the place is not crowded. Overall, Wet Willie's remains a popular spot on River Street, with a nice menu for a bar and a must-try experience for anyone visiting.
