“Our small gathering on the 6th of December was heavenly. This young lady was sweating and smiling so I had to photo her. The overall experience was great with Service and the Atmosphere was breath taking. The food was exceptional except the desserts were a little dis tasteful, but, I had eaten so much it could be my palate. This is one of the most pleasant experiences that I have been a part of in 2025. Please keep up the momentum. Happy Holidays.“

Their beer selection is strong, with plenty of interesting options to choose from. The outdoor patio is perfect too, really open, sunny, and just a comfortable place to kick back and enjoy a drink. The whole vibe is relaxed but fun, and it’s one of those spots that makes you want to stay longer than planned. Drinks were cold, service was friendly, and the energy was just right. “My friend girl brought me to this restaurant for my birthday. I had the turkey ribs, collards, yams and Mac and cheese and the bread pudding, we even tried the fried green tomato,she had the turkey wings. OH ! My gosh the food was sooo, ( never heard of nor had a turkey ribs) it was so tender and the sauce was point on. I don't mind paying a good piece if the service and food is great. When I left this restaurant I took a picture and posted on Facebook, telling everybody I know about this fabulous time at this place and they got to try it out. “I’ve been to the Vortex quite a few times, but tonight they really knocked it out of the park. Sky gave incredible service! Burgers? Out of this world. Mothercluckin chicken rolls? A must try. “My boyfriend and I just ate here for the first time today. We live an hour away and wanted to try something new since we were in the area. The food was AMAZING! We had edamame for an appetizer, my boyfriend had a mushroom quesadilla and I had a delicious Buffalo shrimp salad. Only disappointment was the service from the bartender. We had to ask if we could order, we had to ask for refills, and she never did a check back on the food; so we had to ask for her attention about a question I had concerning my salad dressing. Other customers sitting down had to do the same for service. This was all because she was on her tablet reading. So anytime we interrupted her it was because she was reading from her tablet. This was a disappointment but will try again because of the food quality and nice atmosphere.“

“We're staying at the Hyatt House while undergoing a medical procedure at Northside Hospital across the street so we decided to have dinner at H Bar. Augyst was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The Korean Street Tacos were absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and the salsa wasn't spicy at all. They offer a wide variety of things to eat as well as desserts, which we didn't partake in. We definitely eat there and intend on doing so tomorrow.“

“I had a fantastic night for my first time visiting Johnny’s Hideaway!! I’m disappointed to see some of the more negative reviews, I can’t say I experienced anything unpleasant, but I can’t deny it may happen to others. I’d still recommend Johnny’s for a fun night out dancing to some classics and watching people have a great time; the drinks were nice and strong, the set was bumpin, and the disco ball was shining! The women’s bathroom stalls are a little on the small side but they were fairly clean even later in the night. We don’t get food, but I’ll definitely be back to try some.“

“my family and i came friday night and sat in the restaurant around 9:20pm, which was pretty close to the closing time (10pm). luckily, our server was very attentive and friendly! she got us seated right away and was helpful.

the food came out around 9:45pm, but we were able to still eat peacefully and not be rushed. we got the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer; i think it was made with cream cheese and the pita chips were warm!

the salmon was well cooked and flavorful! the broccoli had a somewhat strong garlic taste, but it was still delicious! the mac and cheese was also good, the breadcrumbs gave it a nice touch! my family also enjoyed their dishes!

overall, everything went will and the food tasted good ??️

You can even dance because they sold too many tables. The dance floor is like a hallway now. If they remove the tables from the dance floor it would be the hottest spot for the older crowd in the city. Help bring the party back. #nomoretables“
