“We went in dubious of authenticity. NOT DISAPPOINTED! We sat at the bar and ZOYA took GREAT care of us. Food was as as good as Arizona where we came from. Fresh tortillas and some heat to my carnitas. Great salsa as well. Thanks!!!😊“
“This neighborhood treasure in Smyrna Village is a great afternoon experience. The variety of bourbons, vodka, tequila etc is amazing. So many choices. Not sure what you want, the master mixologist will help you choose the beverage that will suit your taste. There is indoor and outdoor seating. This is also a cigar bar. If you are looking for a smoke-free experience, there is outside seating or you can go into their smoke-free area. Their sister wine store is just up the walk way. If you want the best of both worlds, sit at one place and enjoy the fruits of all. It is an amazing experience. If you have never tried a smoked drink, the display is a show within itself. Make your way to have a fun afternoon or evening as a date night or just hanging with friends.“

“The service was top notch and the food was good. I love the healthy, low carb options on the sides menu. Also love that healthy options are available on the kids menu. We will be back.“

“Got to do something about the chairs. Every time someone moves a chair it's like running nails on a chalkboard. Tonight was our 3rd visit, can't fault anything but the chairs screeching.“

“July 05, 2025 Greetings, This evening, I had the opportunity to celebrate my 40th birthday, and to mark the occasion, my partner and I chose to dine at a fine dining establishment in downtown Atlanta. Regrettably, after we visited your downtown Atlanta location, it became clear that my hope for an outstanding dining experience was unlikely to be met. Upon our arrival, we had to wait despite having made a reservation several hours earlier. Eventually, we were seated at a table no larger than a nightstand. I immediately observed that, unlike the other tables, the candle on ours was unlit. This should have served as an indication of the service to follow. Once seated, we were presented with the menu and asked for two sweet teas. Soon after, we placed our orders. After waiting twenty minutes, we realized that our drinks had been forgotten. We subsequently reminded our waitress that we had ordered two sweet iced teas. After an additional ten minutes, our drinks arrived. Fifteen minutes later, our food finally arrived. Upon its arrival, I noticed a sticky substance around the $75 steak I had ordered. After considerable effort to cut into it, I tasted the meat and found it to be overcooked—its flavor reminiscent of a meal unintentionally left on the grill by an intoxicated cook. It was unsatisfactory, and I requested a remake. At this point, we had spent over an hour at your restaurant, and the staff began cleaning up. Finally, around 12:05 a.m., the re-cooked steak was brought out. Although it was an improvement over the first, it still did not merit the price of $75. Given that my potatoes were cold and the minimal ice in my refilled iced tea had melted, I opted to forgo the steak altogether. My partner, who is more willing to accept mediocre service, encouraged me to take the steak back to the hotel, which led us to request a to-go box. Ten minutes later, we received a small cardboard box, barely big enough for my food. Further, we were not offered anything to carry the sauce in, utensils, or even a bag. Shortly after, we received our bill, which totaled approximately $195.00, excluding gratuity. At that moment, I was overwhelmed with emotion and informed my partner that I needed a few minutes outside to collect my thoughts. I found it challenging to rationalize $200 for a meal arguably valued at $20 and customer service worth $10. Despite my objections, my partner insisted on refraining from discussing this matter with a manager. He wanted to avoid any conflict on my birthday. While I appreciate his noble intentions, I possess a strong aversion to inequality in any form. The treatment we received in an establishment that professes luxury and exemplary customer service was inadequate and perhaps a sign of your treatment towards Minority LGBT customers. We deserved a better experience. Although my birthday weekend was great, this experience was horrible. I am genuinely disappointed with my visit to your Atlanta location. I would have had a more satisfying experience at a more casual establishment, such as Texas Roadhouse, for a fraction of the costû. Sincerely, Gregory A. Reid Jr. Brandon F. Williams“

“Super cool speakeasy in Colony Square’s food court (past the restrooms). We went without a reservation right when it opened (around 5pm) and were able to be seated quickly. They have an extensive menu of drinks, with detailed descriptions and names of the creators of each drink. I got the Tampa cocktail, which was pretty strong (our waiter suggested we mix in the pina colada foam). The ambiance was super cool — very retro, with different posters and art hung up to match the vibe, as well as a dance floor in the back. Service was good, although a bit slower than expected.“
“This was a great experience with extremely delicious food! Sasha was phenomenal and really explained the flavoring for each dish and drink down to the tee!!!!
I strongly recommend this restaurant for a date night or even solo dinner!“

“Excellent cocktails, great for hosting events. Quickly serve your guest without the wait of making each cocktail and the quality is the same if not better than a bartender could make.“

“Luke was our server and he was simply amazing. He was attentive, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Before we even set foot in the restaurant we experienced great customer service with a server kindly guiding us upstairs. From the ambience, the location, the friendly staff and the delicious food, we will certainly be back.“

“My wife and I stopped by the Third door on Saturday May 7th. It’s a very cool place and the band was great. The hostess told us about the nominal cover charge and that they have table service for drinks. We sat down with a couple my wife knew and waited for a server. 15 minutes in and no server in sight? My wife goes to the bar to order and was told to wait for a server. OK, 10 minutes later here she comes. Takes our simple order and again we wait, and wait. 10 minutes later we are served. I don’t understand what would take so long. Every other venue at the square is very attentive. I would have spent $75-$100 on drinks but never got the chance. I’ll go back one more time but if it’s the same experience, never again.“

“We visited The Red Phone Booth on 6/15 while in town for my cousin’s graduation. What no one knew was that I had just placed my mom on hospice and we had lost a cousin the same day—her sister and my mom’s baby sister were with us. Even in the middle of all that pain, we were shown such kindness. Sophia was amazing, and I even played pool with a member who didn’t know I could barely hold a cue. We didn’t look like what we were going through—but that night gave us joy we truly needed. Thank you for a beautiful experience. We’ll be back. ❤️“

“Dining at Atlas in Atlanta was, without a doubt, the most extraordinary culinary experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been to several Michelin-starred restaurants, but nothing has compared to this. What made this evening so unforgettable wasn’t just the masterfully crafted dishes (which were phenomenal), but the people who brought the experience to life. Chef Money and his incredible team, including Maxwell, Julian, and many others, showed a level of hospitality and genuine kindness that I have never encountered in fine dining. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel not just welcome, but truly cared for. And the food. Every single bite was absolutely unforgettable. Each dish was a perfect blend of artistry, flavor, and emotion. You could feel the heart behind every plate. From the first amuse to the final bite of dessert, I found myself completely immersed in the flavors. Every course built upon the last, creating a seamless, delicious journey I didn’t want to end. This wasn’t just a dinner. It was a beautifully orchestrated experience filled with warmth, creativity, and connection. Chef Money and his team have created something truly special at Atlas. I left feeling full, grateful, and honestly in awe of what I had just experienced. Five stars doesn’t feel like enough. I cannot wait to return.“

“First of all, I very rarely post, as most experiences are average and not worth the time to type; however, this review is warranted. The food and service start to finish were outstanding. It was like the waiter, Carlos, knew what we wanted before we ever asked - refills, substitutions, clean plates, clearing off used dishes, pretty much everything. It's rare that I feel I got my money's worth. This meal was worth every penny.“

“This little place was awesome. We had the best bartender I’ve had in a long time. Timber was awesome, she was very sweet and nice and made our evening great. Wished there was a lil more food selection. But the drinks and atmosphere was excellent. Would highly recommend going there.“

“Perfect Latin fusion fair with creative dishes. Yummy starters include ceviche with passion fruit sauce, empanadas, guacamole and sautéed scallops. Excellent main dishes halibut, herb crusted lamp chops and filet. Healthy options available for vegetarians too! Great salads. Servers and fire dancers were an added bonus because they were fun and very friendly/helpful. (Managers could be friendlier.) Overall restaurant ambiance beautiful and eclectic. $25 fee for bringing our own birthday cake a bit ridiculous! Parking convenient $4 Parking fee expected but offers convenience to customers. Our total experience for party of 8 was amazing!“

“This was my second time eating here and the first for dinner. As expected the service was fantastic - everyone was helpful and kind and prompt - and we didn't have one bad bite! We started with appetizers - blue crab tostada, beets and burrata, cajun hand pies, and the red snapper crudo - all delicious. I have a shellfish allergy so they made sure there was no cross contamination (I'm ok with it around me I just can't ingest it). For our meals we had the Pan seared red snapper - I cleaned my plate! The Dry aged Duroc Pork Chop - my husband loved it and I had a bite or 3 and it was cooked perfectly. Another friend also did the red snapper and loved it and the fourth person had the chicken piccata which I will also order next time! The brownie we shared at the end was the perfect end to a wonderful meal. The cocktails were on point too! I highly recommend Roshambo! GO! You won't be disappointed!“

“Tabby was in town and in usual Tabby flow she was exploring the atlasobscura website and came across The Consulate. As such, we decided to go. We had reservations for 06:15 on a Friday. Arriving about 20 minutes early as traffic happened to be light, we were able to be seated early without any issues. Upon entering the restaurant the hallway decor captures your attention as you focus on the selected hues of blue and artwork placement. Upon being seated we were immediately greeted by Cindy. Cindy arrived all smiles coupled with a huge personality and warm welcome. As this was our first time she took a moment to explain to us the menu selections, geographical inspiration, as well as answer the few questions we had about select items. Cindy’s education of the menu and experience with the foods added to the food deciding experience. Major shout out to Cindy. The ambiance of the restaurant is high energy, captivating and explorative. As you look around the restaurant it puts you in the mindset of being inside one of the classic true to theme castles in an Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider movie. LoL! At any moment Laura Croft could walk in and grab one of the items on display and head out for her next mission. LoL! I decided on the String Beans with a side of Mexican Rice and I was more than satisfied with the flavor profile of my meal. The string beans were flavor stacked with the slight sweet from the sauce and the spice from the peppers. The texture was spot on for a true sautéed experience as well as the portion was perfect… The Mexican rice paired well with the string beans as it provided a texture variation as well as it was seasoned well but not overpowering in comparison to the string beans. This was truly a 10/10 experience. The service, the environment, and the food were all superb. Whether for a personal 2 person dinner or after work friend vibe, The Consulate is truly a must try for any occasion.“
