“It was almost closing time, but we like to try the Mom and Pop places when we can. So we pulled thinking we might have missed lunch but there is nothing like asking. We were greeted immediately, offered a table inside(chairs were already up). BBQ baked potato and coleslaw for me and 1/2 lb pulled pork, Brunswick stew and coleslaw for my husband. We enjoy a good sticky BBQ from our neck of the woods,so this was a little different for us. It was all quite tasty,signed our name on the wall,thanked the friendly staff and took a few ribs for the road. Now home with our ribs,we realized we missed the good stuff.... the RIBS! Melt in your mouth,😋 cooked and seasoned to perfection with a rub unique to Hopeyoulikit. Thank you for your generosity,courtesy, and friendly atmosphere.... we will be back,the good Lord willing.“

“This is one of our favorite places to eat. But we do not like it so much tonight. We walked in at 9:26 they say they close at 10:00. However the hostess greeted us by saying we are no longer serving dine in but you can get your food to go. We turned around and walked out and went down the road where we were able to sit down and enjoy our food. Very disappointing. If you are no longer serving dine in guest 30 minutes before you close you need to post that so people don't waste their time coming to your establishment .“

“I have enjoyed their sobs for years, my last experience has far from great. They ran out of their normal bread and substituted it with looks to me like hotdog buns. I called the owner or manager, and he reacted like I was crazy. He had no answer or resolution. Customer service is so important.“

“Always has an amazing range of options especially as someone who is allergic to a lot of food items. Though I would have to give the atmosphere a 4/5 due to my friend being scolded by the employees for walking on a "fresh mopped floor" even though there wasn't a wet floor sign.

Vegetarian options: There is an abundance amount of vegetables to choose from in the salad station and the rice is very good as well.

Dietary restrictions: I'm allergic to a lot of food groups and there is a station just for people who have dietary restrictions.“

“When we came here the county animal shelter was there with two dogs that were very nice. There was a nice and colorful place and even nice location. Our server was on her phone for a bit and it took a long time to get our food for there being a small amount of people.“

“I recently visited Eagle Creek Brewery at 106 Savannah Ave Ste B, in Statesboro, GA. I had been here before so I knew the routine. I went to the bar counter, checked over the selections and ordered my beer. The person behind the bar was very helpful as we discussed beer and food selections. “Just got through eating a very fine meal at Chow Time Buffet in Statesboro, it was delicious and I will be returning. The price was right as well, less than $10 with Pepsi for the drink.

Little update, it's been a few years since I first gave my review. The prices have risen slightly but everything costs more and that's understandable. The food is still amazing and well worth the drive to sit down to such a great meal. Waitress is very efficient and most are friendly.“
