“Man this is one place I've been where I have yet to replicate the rice. Its like a reddish color with oil and I swear I cant get enough of it. I can just eat the rice with vegetables. Can't even remember exactly what I ordered but even though the food was great that rice was amazing. Make sure to get the white sauce. No dine in just a drive thru.“

No AC inside but covered seating outside. Weather was good today for outside so not a factor.“

“Every time I’m in a new area, I refuse to eat big chain restaurants, and I’m so happy I have that rule because this place is phenomenal! I don’t know what kind of vinaigrette they have but even the salads are out of this world and the lamb sandwich is a must get for your first token experience!! The food came out as fast as the service AND it was still hot by the time I got back to the apartment! Both gentlemen there were super kind and on point, the one taking my order gave me a good laugh too! Five stars is genuinely not enough 100/10 🙌 also the to tzatziki sauce is clearly in-house made be sure to get one“

“Had our rehearsal dinner last night at Cafe Lily in the Peacock Room and it was fantastic! Food was excellent and all the wait staff, particularly our main servers, Erin and Christian, were friendly and professional. The manager, Katie, was a pleasure to work with in getting everything set up and made sure the night ran smoothly. Highly recommend for a small party!“

“The food was fantastic. We had a large party and they were great to provide for our crew. The falafel was amazing. The shawarma wraps were incredible. And the chicken and rice bowls were filling. For dessert we enjoyed the fig cookies, which were divine. Highly recommend. Will definitely dine at Al-Chef again when coming back to Clarkston!“

“Spent several hours Saturday night and had a great time. The Bolognese pasta is the best I've ever had! Music was great and when DJ started it was poppin!
Didn't try hookah but others in our party loved it! I had Diet Coke and rum but tasted the Peach cocktail and it was delicious! Management checked on us several times to make everything was good!“

“Food was exquisite, well seasoned, and visually appealing. We ordered something spicy, forgot what it was, but it hit the spot as far as taste was concerned. The coffee was everything I would expect from an Ethiopian restaurant. Went for my birthday and was a pleasant surprise. Hardly any patrons were present. There was a homeless man who kept trying to enter, the waitress eventually gave him a plate. That speaks to character. It took a little while to pay and leave as it was only one waitress.“

“Pulled over because I was running errands during my lunch break. Best decision I made all day. I got the spicy lamb gyro and it was delicious, warm, and packed with a lot of meat. It wasn't even that spicy as I had to ask before ordering it spicy because I love spicy food but a lot of places over do it . The nice lady at the window told me it wasn't that spicy and I went for it, brought it back to work and devoured it. I got one for my coworker and I was about to eat his because it was SOOO good. A little far from where I work but definitely worth the drive.“
