“Food was really Good!! We actually pulled up as they were closing and when we found that out we weren’t going to order any food because it’s always scary to go somewhere and get Old food instead of Fresh Food! Luckily that wasn’t the case here and we definitely received Fresh food! ? Great customer service and really good food!

“Ordered general tso, crab Rangoon, shrimp n broccoli and chicken wings!!! General tso was perfect coming from a NY crab Rangoon was a hit! And the rest of the food was pretty good as well!!! Best chinese I’ve had in GA in the last 4 years!!! $50 well spent“

“JenChan’s is a friendly neighborhood hangout with an amazing menu, friendly waiters, and a wide selection of games. The food is always fantastic and the drinks are always strong & cold. I would recommend the ginger margarita slushies, the fried mushrooms, and any of the pizzas!!!“

“New to Atlanta area and wanted to try something well rated. Google was fairly spot on with the ratings.

We got plenty of food because we wanted a variety. To start we had fried dumplings which were fantastic and sweet a good stage. For the main course we ordered too much and got an order of chicken lo mein, chonchqing chicken, and crispy beef. The lomein and chicken were great, the chicken was a nice stew with bone in chicken and a bit of a spice. The lo mein was surprisingly good (normal it's generic but this was very well done). The beef was a bit bland for us and just tasted fried. Service throughout the entire meal was great and prompt (shoutout to john). We would come back again in the future.“

“I was in the area for a friend's birthday and I was hungryyyyyyyyy. As I was heading to my car I passed Wok Chi. Their QR menu was on the window so I scanned it. After taking a scroll I decided to place an order. Walking in, the restaurant is very clean and made great use of the space. The bar is directly in front of you and the tables are to your right. It’s very cute with a simple design and a few eye-catching placements throughout the area. I walked up to the ordering area and was immediately greeted. The young lady was very pleasant and welcoming. I placed my order for 6 Wings, Thai Chili, with Pork Fried Rice, paid and took a seat at the bar to wait on my food. The ambiance is very chill. The music was at a perfect volume as I was still able to hear my conversation, the staff was laughing and engaging with one another, and the bar seats were super comfortable. My food arrived and was super fresh. As I placed my order to go, I was excited that I could smell my food through the container. Opening my container, the visual appeal was nice. The plate was well packed and the portion size was perfect for the price point of the meal. Now… the Food! The wings were amazing. Though they were light in color, they were crispy on the outside and juicy and hot on the inside. The flavor profile of the Thai Chili sat well on the fresh wings. The sweetness wasn’t too sweet and put me in the mind of a honey glaze. The chili flakes were present but not too spicy. There were some good wings. I would definitely come back for more. The rice was a bit too eggy for me. I’m accustomed to egg being in fried rice, however, the eggs overpowered the rice and pork. After two bites I was unable to adjust to the over-powering egg presence and decided not to eat the rice. All in all, I’ll be back for the wings.“

“Chai Peking has been an Atlanta Kosher fixture for over 20 years and I am happy to say it is as good as ever. While my family and I have ordered many, many times in those 20+ years I thought it was time for me to write a review. First and foremost I am a very fussy Chineese food afficionado as it is one of my favorite types of food. Being a BalTeshuva I have tasted many treif versions in my youth. So you can imagine I'm a tougher critic than most FFB reviewers. Fortunately I can happily say that most every dish we've had has been extremely good. My family is allergic to garlic so we always ask them to remove it. I can't imagine how much better it would be with it since it is really good w/o. Over the years the food has been very consistent. It always tastes the same which is a good thing. My only gripe food wise is the fried rice. I find it very bland and boring. We were in a restaurant in Florida recently and I was reminded how amazing good fried rice can be. I wish they would work to improve it. Oddly my family seems to enjoy it, but maybe because they never had better. The main dishes however are really delicious and compete well with other restaurants Kosher and non Kosher from what I recall all those years ago. Almost everyone I know in the community really enjoys Chai Pekings food, never heard anyone complain about it. It is also nice they have a fairly large menu unlike some places I have been. Another minus though is that it is take out only and while you can eat if one of a few small tables is available at the Kroger it is hosted in, I long for the wonderful atmosphere a true Chinese restaurant can offer. However despite that I am enormously grateful just to have the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful food. My familys favorites are Sweat and Sour Chicken, Beef and Chicken Lomein, Sesame Chicken, Egg Rolls, Wonton Soup, Dumplings, and my all time favorite Chicken with Cashews which is better at Chai Peking than any other place I have ever had it at. If I could afford it, I would eat there every day. The wait time is another area that could be improved. It is sometimes accurate to the given wait forecast but on busier days can easily be double which can be 45-60 minutes or more. I know this can be challenging for any busy place but I just wish they could get a better handle on it consistently. Another less frequent but still annoying occurence has been driving home to find out they forgot to add the Cashews to my dish. We live too far away to drive back and complain which is frustrating. It has happened a number of times in the last year or two so I recommend everyone to check your order carefully before leaving. So while I have mentioned several negatives I cannot stress enough how much the positives out weigh the negatives. I love love love Chai Peking and hope you will too.“

“Excellent choice Roast duck soup is the best I've ever had. Very polite and nice lady at the register which is very unusual for most Asian establishments when it comes to black people in particular and I truly appreciate that. This was enough to ruin us ever wanting to return. It is sad because they are friendly and food is good but we also noticed a bin of wontons sitting in the dining area. Be careful eating there. “I only got Buffalo-style boneless tenders. The order didn't come with any dipping sauce or veggie sticks, which I found a bit odd, but I had wanted them because I had home-made blue cheese dressing already anyway, so that wasn't a big deal. The tenders were just what I wanted, cooked crispy, and the sauce (I got the "Buffalo crazy" version) was at a very good spice level for me. I have a high spice tolerance and they're spicy enough that I notice but not so much that they're difficult to eat. No complaints and I will definitely be getting my buffalo chicken fix here in the future.“

“Tonight was my 1st time ordering here I can honestly say it won’t be my last I LOVE the fact the have a sensible kids menu I appreciated that for my child to pick her own meal & it was a good portion I should of ordered my food off the kids menu… My only gripe is that places DO NOT know what buffalo HOT wings mean anymore when I say I want HOT wings I mean I want some wings with some SPICE to it!! The establishment is always clean although it is dated. The only thing I don't like is that they can't stay open later. Places in the area all close so early and the food is nearly as good as Hong Kong.“

“Great place, came through as part of the carnival and craved Chinese food. Place was practically across the street, it looks like most other Chinese food restaurants and the food was ready in 15 minutes. Honey chicken was perfect, fried rice was better than any other place I've been, and the wonton soup was more al dente than anywhere I've been but I think I prefer a wonton dumpling that stays on the fork rather than a soft one that won't stay on the fork or chopsticks. I'll be back regularly while we are here and probably next year as well.“

“I've been sick for over a week and lost 7lbs. My throat & congestion have been awful. Wednesday was the first day I was hungry, and I ordered the hot & sour and wonton egg drop soups. I CAN BREATHE. My congestion cleared, and the viscosity of the egg drop coated my throat. I ate the soup Wednesday, Thursday, and tonight.

“I was treated by a friend to Mr Everything and let me tell you. IT WAS EVERYTHING and SOME! I had the Chicken Over Rice dish. I'm tempted to drive the 40 minutes back over there to order more. The food smelled so good and the presentation of the dish was nicely put together. My mom taught us presentation is everything. The food was seasoned perfectly. The chicken Philly was chopped down real good and the honey mild wings were perfect ?. Surprisedly the fries were as well. So a few days later I ordered it again but this time it was a bit later in the evening. After 9pm too and guess what, the Muthafawka was even better than the last time! Perfect mane!. The meals are delicious and filling. I usually call in my order and the food is always fresh and hotly prepared in 10 minutes. “This place has some of the best Chinese food in the area. The food there is delicious, hot, fresh, a served consistently within 10 mins of placing your order. As a teacher, who usually has around 20-25 mins for lunch each day, this is one of my favorite lunch go to locations. I eat there atleast 2-3 times per week. It doesn't look like much outside or inside, but don't let the lack of aesthetic appeal deter you. Although the cashier seems to rush customers when ordering and sometimes doesn't completely listen when you request a drink with your order, you're definitely guaranteed to get a flavorful bang for your buck.
