“From the minute we walked in, everyone was a pleasure, especially the owner Nash. Super friendly, funny, and genuinely welcoming. He was walking around checking on everyone, and you could tell the staff was happy to be there too. The food came out quick and everything was prompt. Honestly, it brought back memories of when I was younger and customer service actually mattered. The IHOP location on Panola really needs to take notes because their customer service is horrible. It takes nothing to be kind, and this location gets it right.“
“The server (much older woman) was argumentative over my order. I asked for one scrambled egg with cheese. The order looked like the start of two overeasy eggs that was then chopped on the grill. When I asked to have it redone, she told me that's how I ordered the eggs. I told her it was not. Then she said that is how they make scrambled eggs. I told her I was there a month ago and they did not look like that. Another young server came over and asked if she could help. I showed her the eggs and she said she would take care of it. She came back with the one scrambled egg with cheese like I originally ordered and apologized for other exchange and wrong order. As if it were nit enough, the first server returned to argue some more about how the new order look saying it was about the same. It was rude. In short, don't argue with the customer over an egg. Don't lie about how scrambled eggs are cooked when you frequent a lot of IHOP locations and never had eggs look like that. I have never returned food, but my husband stated that it would be quick. I will never sit in her station.“
