The food was hot and fresh and the staff was very attentive and friendly but the prices were steep and options were limited. But they do allow to feed their highland cows after you dine with rolls they provide. Pretty cool
Our server was amazing! The place is really neat inside and we got to sit at a window and watch the farm animals! (My favorite part) The food was excellent, unfortunately both steaks were cooked improperly but still soft and tasty, the catfish was suppose to be fried and came out grilled. The salmon was very small but still very good .

Awesome place. Love the food. Beats high end city food any day. Service very welcoming. Made me feel at home. If you like good food and the country this is a must visit. Thanks yall

Backwoods Steak House is a hidden gem worth the drive. The food, service, and atmosphere are top-notch. From the delicious possum drops to the impressive seafood dishes, every bite is a delight. Despite being cash-only, the friendly staff and diverse menu keep customers coming back for more. With car tags from multiple states, it's clear that this place is a must-visit for a memorable dining experience. The food was excellent. The server was very good and the atmosphere was great. It surpassed expectations. The service and food were TOP NOTCH! It’s a new favorite date night locale. Highly recommended. The food is great.
