Mama-N-Em's Southern Kitchen & Steakhouse is a great place with incredibly good food and a casual, country atmosphere. The country fried steak is thick, crispy, and tender, served with two sides for just $12.99. All the food is homemade, including the hand-breaded fried okra. The shrimp & grits, pimento cheese burger, and chicken tenders are all amazing, with shrimp & grits being highlighted for its great taste. Fried mushrooms and fried green tomatoes are also popular choices. Even non-okra lovers will enjoy Mama-N-Em's fried okra. The friendly staff make the experience even better, although there have been mentions of slow drink refills and some discomfort with flies during busy times.
