We always enjoy dining at Scoots! The smoked turkey we purchased for Christmas was amazingly delicious!
Came to town to pick up a few items we needed for camping at Hamburg State Park. We decided to stop here to eat, and we weren't disappointed. We had the Brown Sugar Bacon Cheeseburger, and Scoot's Chicken Philly, and both were amazing!! We also had the Ooey Gooey Cinnamon Roll to top things off!! Everything was great, and we can't say enough about the staff!! We felt at home the minute we walked in, we will visit anytime we are in the area.
I've been several times and have LOVED everything I've eaten. Yesterday, I was there with Faye Pennington for lunch. I had the salad sampler, as I often do, and Faye had the special of the day, a grilled apple, Swiss cheese, and bacon sandwich. This sandwich, which was served on buttery, perfectly toasted sourdough bread, was grandmama-slapping good. The menu features fresh, incredibly tasty food with perfect seasoning. Standout dishes include the amazing burger, the brisket sandwich, delicious fish tacos, and the Brown Sugar Bacon burger. Appetizers like the brisket stuffed mushrooms are also recommended. For salads, the chicken satay, thai salad, and trio with chicken, pimento, and broccoli are all delicious. The restaurant is also an ice cream emporium, offering 8 or 10 flavors of soft serve for sundaes and dessert.
