Ella B's Restaurant

I had my son’s graduation dinner at Ella B’s, and my family had nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. Our personal waitress Nikki (w/o the fade.. inside joke..lol) was nothing short of phenomenal. She made sure we had everything we needed and more. We made "late" reservations for our large party on Mother's Day. If I'm being 100% honest, I was expecting subpar service but was just hoping the food was at least decent. And that expectation had NOTHING to do with Ella B's personally, but it's just become the "norm" in the Dallas food scene. Let's just say I was PLEASANTLY surprised. My blood pressure took a major hit when I dined at this subpar establishment. Excessive salt was the complaint with each of my table mates and there were 8 of us. I would love for all black owned enterprises to thrive but the mindset of giving the bare minimum seems to be prevalent. Our server Niki was excellent and the DJ was great. I will not return to Ella B’s.
