“This place is very cozy and the cashier was so nice! The banh mis are made fresh so it does take a little longer but it’s so worth it. Everything is well balanced. Bread was fluffy and crunchy. The Vietnamese sauce compliments the juicy crispy wings. No dipping sauce needed for their wings. The grilled pork banh mi - get the pate added and it’ll set it off. The pork was tender and smoky. They have sugarcane juice which was the best refreshing drink for a hot summer day. It’s a modern Vietnamese fusion spot that actually does it right. Family favorites: pork dumplings, lo mein, general chey's stirfry, thai coconut soup, and the salads are actually really hardy and yummy. They have done a lot of give-back fundraisers for the neighborhood fire house and schools over the years and we really love that. We always eat here when the kids come visit from college. “Went for Valentine’s Day with my girlfriend for the first time and was blown away by how good the food was. The appetizers and Signature Chef Rolls were out of this world and genuinely some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Our server Tommy was awesome and Keith was very helpful too. “This place is seriously SO GOOD. The food is straight up addictive. We ordered the spicy crab fish cake soup and the cheese makchang, and both were insanely good. The soup was super comforting — spicy, rich, and packed with flavor. The crab added that extra depth, and it was perfect with soju.

The cheese makchang was the real star though. Chewy, flavorful, a little smoky, and the melted cheese on top just made it next level. It’s one of those dishes you keep eating even when you’re already full.

The vibe is fun and lively, very Korean pocha-style. Great spot for going out with friends and just hanging out for hours.

Upon taking our seats, I ordered a sweet tea and began to scroll the menu. Taking a moment to take in the menu as there are an abundance of options, I decided on the Spring Rolls as an Appetizer and Pad Thai as my Main Course. Clearly I played it safe. 😂😂😂 From seating us to taking out drink and food orders, our waiter was super nice. He was professional, very educated on the menu offerings and kept a smile the entire time. Not to mention, we weren’t his only table yet he was on top of his game and provided top tier service. Once my food came I was immediately drawn into the aroma. The Thai Spices mixed with the Sweet smells of the sauce made me extra happy inside. LoL. The Spring Rolls were good. They were crunchy loo Upon first bite I almost melted. Whew! I have NEVER in all my years had a Pad Thai this amazing. I’m talking about perfectly cooked noodles. Optimum noodle to meat to sauce ratio. And best of all, the peanuts were coated in the sauce and not only acted as the extra layer of texture, but their flavor profile was enhanced which allowed the dish to have a multi-flavor blend of sweet, salty, and nutty. Omggggggg. I want moreeeeeeeeee. The dish arrived hot and was very fresh. This wasn’t no quick boil or reheated dish, no. This was freshly made when I ordered it and whoever the chef was is amazing at their job. Dear Chef, your ability to cook Pad Thai is beyond normal. Your supernatural flavor elevated dish was exciting, mouth pleasing, and has made me eager to return to EAV That & Sushi. “I've enjoyed the food and staff at the various locations since they first opened the original in Decatur. I visit that location most weeks before shopping at Your DeKalb Farmers Market. The cook has changed a handful of times there so I thought I'd see how it is at this one in Global Mall. The chicken manchow soup is my go-to most of the time. It has changed much though still tasty in Decatur. It was as I remember it and it was a wonderful sensory experience at Global Mall. I do plan to make more frequent visits when I want this particular treat, though I did tell the man at the counter I'd be having the veggie fireballs next time. Lovely!“

It costs more than other K-Chinese in the area, but is executed to a proportionally higher standard. The decor is great. The volume in the restaurant is both busy, but not too loud for a date.

The food is perfect. jajamyung noodles are not over cooked or soggy. Tung su yuk does not have pork smell. Rice batter is perfectly crispy.

Servings are big. Order to share, and expect leftovers. Food comes out relatively quickly. If you need food now, this place will get it to you as fast as anywhere. They serve the food in the order it is ready -- eg, tung su yuk comes out after noodles.

Their servers are great. Use the electronic buttons. Has a high class atmosphere.

Overall very tasty and for the bbq pork over rice, probably the cheapest price option compared to others in the plaza. I am very Caucasian so of course the recommended the dumplings.... I asked for something with lots of flavor and some spice. I have no clue what I got but it has amazing flavor, lots of veggies, fish balls and some really well made sausage. The price is under $12 with complementary water. I'll be back to try more for sure!“
