“Passing through on our way to Atlanta. This place was close to our hotel and had a covered patio where they welcomed our toy poodle. THEN, the service, the food! Best oysters on the half shell ever - rivaling the Oyster Bar in Grand Central Station in New York City. Fried green tomatoes - delicious! Popcorn shrimp terrific! Yummy Cole slaw and cheesy grits. I was amazed and delighted to have found this treasure. Such friendly and fun staff served us very quickly and graciously. Great experience!!!“

“I don't like fish when I'm outside. I only like fish when I cook it. My husband had me try this place. I was wowed at how much I liked the food, and I had to try a few others captain D's. Not only is the price great, but the portions were big. Above all, the food was TOP SHELF. The fried fish was one of the best I've had in years. Keep the great cooking.“
