“I have seen so many BAD reviews on this place as of today and I just have to say they are ALL wrong. This place had EXCELENT customer service and smiles all around. The store was CLEAN and smelled nice. The food was AMAZING to the point where my kids devoured the sweet n sour chicken, fried rice, and the beef lomein! For reference they are 2 and 4 years old. We have gotten Chinese food from many places over the years and THIS ONE is a hit. They packed the wonton soup with wontons and they didn't skip the fortune cookies! They offer chopsticks that come from Hong Kong as well and let me tell ya, they are BEAUTIFUL. This is will be MY family's Chinese spot from jow until we move one day! A++++++
Would definetly recommend to anyone looking for a good place for Chinese food?“

“This place is a definite place to go for a decent dinner at a great price. When I went I got a bunch of different dinner combination dinner plates and I was surprised with the quilty of food, they run about 7.99 to 825 for a meat and side of rice with a egg roll which to me is a good price for that meal. But this place actually has a flavorful serving of food, most fast food Chinese places are lacking in taste in their dishes for such a low price but this place is worth it. I got images from the visit but once I get home the family grabs their and runs before I can get a image of the item.
The most liked is the General Chicken, House Lo Mein, and the Kung Pow Chicken. We did try the Pepper Steak, Mongolian Beef Sesame Chicken, and the beer or chicken with broccoli. All were very good and worth the trip to get a good done for your family for a decent price.
While there people did order their wings with the flavor sauces, I wish they didn't sizzling rice soup or a curry but they do have a good selection to choose from.
All in all a worth while for trip.“

“Went there today and haven't been there in about 2 years. The restaurant has a few seats, but mainly, I believe most people take out as I did. I ordered a honey chicken plate and added shrimp fried rice($2.50 more). I believe I count 5 shirmps or so, not too bad. The food came out pretty fast, maybe a little too fast. My shrimp fried rice had an excellent taste, however it was very undercooked and hard?. Needed to be boiled longer. The honey chicken was good. The eggroll was good. All in all the food was good even with the rice being undercooked. The flavor was definitely there. So I would recommend it.“

“The sesame chicken and the Hibachi chicken and steak are awesome and my favorites here. They do charge for extra yum yum sauce but it's worth the $1 to me. Not much to say about the inside, only one table and some chairs for people to wait on their food. The food is good though!“

“Young family members who work the front need some instruction on dealing with the public. Being abrupt and dismissive instead of trying to be helpful can make customers want to go elsewhere. Food is always very good, albeit a little pricey.“

“i’ve been coming here since i was a young child (i’m almost 21 now) and i’ve never had a disappointing experience.the owner has always been so sweet and their prices are so reasonable for large amounts of food, which is very rare to find nowadays. you can get a hot, fresh, large meal from here (and probably have leftovers for later) for the same price of a disappointing mcdonald’s meal. the containers are always packed full and the food is made to order. we just got home with our to go order and after picking it up and the 15 minute drive home, it was still piping hot when we opened it. the meat was steaming, egg rolls were crispy and hot, everything was perfect.the workers are always friendly, food is always hot, tasty and fresh, and the prices are great. you really can’t beat it. growing up, this was one of the only couple of places that my parents could afford to get dinner for the family when we wanted takeout, and we’d all always end our dinner satisfied and with leftovers! they’ve stayed true to their great pricing all these years. i recommend kong long to all of my friends when the topic of good chinese food places comes up. even when i lived in carrollton, i chose to make the 25-30 minute drive to get my chinese food here because i could count on the quality being consistent.it is rare that you see a small family owned business last this long, and i really think that can be credited to their consistency with providing great quality and quantities of food with friendly service“
