“I've only tried their breakfast but it was fantastic!!! I haven't had breakfast like my mom cooked it since I moved out years ago. But I was told their lunch is fantastic also by the Same person who said their breakfast was delicious so I believe it is most likely great also. I definitely recommend this place. “Stopped by while traveling for a quick restroom break and decided to grab some chicken. The staff was ok, not that friendly, but we still ordered. We ordered chicken tenders and fries. The chicken tenders were really delicious to be sold in a gas station, and I do recommend for a quick snack. Be mindful the prices are a bit high.“
“Absolutely delicious every time! I love the batter on the chicken fingers, the Rooster sauce, and crinkle fries!I began going when I was a student at AU 1994-1997. I'm so glad there is now one in Lanett and in Roanoke!The one in Lanett is just a few miles from my home and the one in Roanoke is close to Traylor's, where my dad is in the nursing home.My dad requested Guthrie's for dinner on his 81st birthday this past January 10th, so I brought it to him and hand fed him 2 chicken fingers, a few fries, and half a piece of toast. He thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it!The service has been outstanding every single time I've been and they are very quick. They have been very friendly. I usually go through the drive thru, but I have eaten inside a couple times. It was very clean inside both the restaurant and in the restroom.Great food, service, staff and the prices have not risen (or, at least, have not risen as much as other places)! My husband and I can still eat a delicious dinner for under $25 which is hard to find these days!“
“We love chicken stop for catfish. Went there Friday. No problem that it took over 45 min cause it was very busy. Problem was that when I went to eat my second piece of fish it's was so thin and mostly breading. We PD for 4 pieces and it really was only 3. Going next time this doesn't happen but we definitely CK before I take Platte off counter“
“The food was fresh, hot, good and fast. I just wish that they didn't put honey in all the biscuits. I wish the customers was given a choice, my family just don't care for our bread to be sweet. Besides that, i would go back, and this Church's is connected to a truckstop and gas station.“
“I’m a truck driver. I had a layover so I decided to walk around to see what was around me. I noticed Newt’s Fried Chicken. It’s a small place but you can smell the flavor before you walk in. There was a small line but that’s a good sign. I ordered a 9 pc wing. Made to order. I didn’t realize that they were whole wings!! So I was happy when I opened the box. They are great sized wings, not too salty, and flavorful. Idk if they make their own hot sauce but it’s nothing that I’ve tasted before. It’s great as well.“
