“We had the best food and service! I have celiac disease and a soy allergy and they were so knowledgeable on cross contamination and how to avoid it by getting all fresh ingredients. They were also very happy to accommodate my allergy. I normally dread ordering food with my allergy but this experience was great!“

“We had the salsa trio which was salsa, queso, and guacamole. The guacamole was one of the best I’ve had recently and the queso very good too. No option for free chips & salsa, though. Our entrees were very good, no complaints, and the server left us alone for too long after receiving them. We were ready for our check and a box and had to wait for ~10 minutes for the server to stop by again. The location along the riverfront made for a nice walk before and after too.“

“Coming from Texas, this is some of the best Tex-mex we’ve found in Sav. Fundido cheese app is good and the 3 combo tacos allow u to mix n match a variety of choices. Drinks & drink specials (margs & Paloma’s especially) definitely worth trying. Highly recommend.“

“we ate there for dinner. tried a few different dishes, the pork belly guacamole was awesome. they have. large selection of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and much more for build your own. i had a scallop taco it was delicious. wife had rib tacos kids had shrimp quesadillas. the options to customize was great too. the coconut flan and tres leches was the "icing on the cake " it was all around delicious“

“I absolutely love it here! Every time I visit, I’m greeted by the kindest ladies, which makes the experience even better. The flavors here take me right back to Albuquerque, New Mexico. The mangonadas and elote are out of this world 😍 I’m so happy to have found this place and can’t recommend it enough!“

“The most affordable Mexican restaurant I’ve had in Savannah and the best flavor and seasoning. I had three items with ground beef, and they all tasted different! The rice had flavor, the beans, and it was enough food for 4 people. It was $14.50 for the hungry hombre.“

“Fantastic Mexican food! Why we haven't tried Cancun before I will never know. Everything was on point. Best chips and salsa in the area. Also I have no idea what they do to their refried beans but holy hell they are good. I am glad I live like 5 minutes away so I can go back frequently. Awesome stuff!“

“I had the Breakfast Burrito (eggs, cheese, tots, black beans) and red salsa as dipping sauce. It was delightful and reasonably priced at $9. I also tried the Beignets, and they were amazing - warm, flaky, and had the perfect amount of sweetness!
Service was fast, and the servers and chef were all very friendly.
It is a cute themed cafe and has indoor booths, tables, and outdoor seating as well.
I highly recommend this spot!“

“Found Kayak Kafe on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed which we believe is a good sign that the food is good but we may have to wait. To our surprise there were still a few open tables so we grabbed a seat. We started off our meal with a Cucumber Lemonade. It was light, tasty and very refreshing. I ordered the Turkey Cubano with Turkey Chili and my wife got the Lime Chicken Tacos. Everything was simply delicious. If I lived in Savannah then this place would be a must go to weekly. “Fun place to everybody. Great place to eat alone, as a couple or a family and group setting. Have a stage for a live band, corner to corner test and 2 pool tables. The food was served hot, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. Prices were pretty reasonable as well.“

“The service that me and my family member received from the staff last night was a pressure and a delightful. I hadn't been in this establishment in years. The food was great last nite I was hungry more than I thought. Cleanliness was a B+. I recommend will be back.“
