“Higher end steak houses are abundant and ubiquitous, so it says something that I would now place this one in my top five. Ever. No kidding. And this was after eating my way across Manhattan for the previous week--seriously, this place is in Winder, GA? The price point is fair at $40-60 depending on the cut and weight, so perhaps a bit less than a steakhouse in a large metro area, but still on par in quality and preparation in every way. Service was attentive and good; the tables were well-apportioned; and the atmosphere is quite elegant. Let's face it -- that's a little surprising for a small-town enterprise. But the food is what set our experience apart by far. The chorizo-crusted strip, filet and also the tuna were perfectly cooked and very flavorful. (We had one steak out of six entrees that got to MW temp instead of the requested MR--but the restaurant made quick work of correcting that.) Go with the delicious rustic mashed potatoes over the fries. Appetizers and other sides are all a la carte and made to share. I'm sure those are also good, but we stuck with just a generous wedge salad and the complementary potatoes. (Who really needs more when a 14 oz. steak is coming to the plate?) I was impressed with the tasty and inventive cocktails, and a glance at the bar tells me that someone knows a thing or two around bourbon, too. The wine list is small enough not to intimidate diners, but wide enough to find something to please any palate. We will be back--I want to check out the affiliated "speakeasy" and the rooftop space in warmer weather! (I'd love to see this restaurant expand to adjacent downtown Monroe where, in my opinion, the vibe and clientele would be a perfect fit!)“
“Food is always delicious as are the drinks! The staff is always very attentive to any needs/wants that their customers may have! Laid back and fun atmosphere with fun, creative decor! We travel from Lawrenceville to enjoy the Gringo!Wheelchair accessibility: Flat open floorplan“
“Great little bar! There was a diverse tap list (see Untappd app for current listing) and some pretty cocktails. The owners were super nice and other guests were friendly. There were lots of cozy little seating areas and the atmosphere was very pretty. Great place to grab a drink or two and socialize. It's a little hard to find - SECOND FLOOR of the 1904 building but well worth the hunt. A true diamond in the ruff.“
“The small dining area was very quaint and our server was extremely professional and courteous. The food was immaculate in both portion size and taste. My only complaint is the coffee tasted old and poor. But I highly recommend Local Station and will most definitely be back.“
“Rebar is one of our favorite places to eat in Braselton when we want something light and fresh or we just want a quick snack & a drink. My husband loves the club sandwich, says it's one of the best he's had. I am gluten-free so I enjoy trying the salads and quinoa bowls.Angie, the manager is there almost every time we go and we love seeing her. She's fun and upbeat and loves interacting with her customers.“
“This was our second visit- the first we had dinner and it was outstanding. We mixed it up and tried the brunch menu. Low Country hash and the Green Eggs and Ham Benne (benedict). Our favorite was our little plate of the Shrimp and Grits. My husband's benedict was the next best, mine was overloaded in potatoes. Not a bad thing but a bit too much. A good meal and decent service. We also had two Mules - regular and a Rosemary Sage. Overall a good local restaurant when we don't want the usual.“
“Was here for the Thanksgiving holiday. Thoroughly enjoyed the Bourbon Bar. The two female bartenders that worked on Wed and Thurs were absolulty fantastic. To management; don't ever let them go! We will come back just to enjoy the atmosphere and the great bourbon again.“
“Stopped in today after a quick search for places to eat near me. One of the best choices ever from that kind of search! We had a wonderful lunch and have been talking about ut all the way home. My husband had the chicken fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. I had the halibut fish and chips with Cole slaw. We will be back next time we are in the area!“
“The food is always wonderful! But what makes it even better is the service! I have never had bad service here. Nicolas was our server tonight and he went above and beyond. I will definitely be requesting his service again the next time we go and we are frequent visitors!“
“Our Waiter was absolutely amazing! He was so knowledgeable on all of the food and wine pairings. Top shelf service and the food was absolutely delicious. Best rack of lamb I've ever eaten. They have a great wine list and the Port wine and desert were a perfect pairing. ?“
“My husband and I enjoyed a great lunch here during our weekend getaway. We had Mahi tacos and smoked chicken tacos. Both were excellent. The best fish tacos I’ve had because the fish were seasoned to perfection. Great margaritas as well. Highly “
“We dropped in for a late dinner (8:30pm) on St. Patrick's Day. It was a chaotic experience because the doors were locked but the signs said it was open. So we walked through the outdoor seating area. No one greeted us or anything, so we just found a table and sat down. A waitress came over a bit later and asked if we were just hanging out or if we wanted to eat. We asked for menus. Everything was in disarray because they had a St. Patrick's Day Festival earlier in the day, and they were trying to get everything cleaned up. We hadn't known about the festival, or we would have done that instead. Anyway, the waitress had to hunt for menus and plasticwear. They were only using take-out boxes, plastic cups, and plastic wear since they were trying to clean up after the festival. We ordered 2 entrees and an appetizer with 3 soft drinks. Including the mandatory tip of 20%, our bill was $115! And we literally never saw our server! The food was amazing! The service and price, not so much. We will definitely give it another shot, and hopefully it won't be another event day.“
“I'm not sure the server's name.young girl with glasses. She's was great. My two oldest daughters are all of their wings!!! We had burgers they were on point. I wish I knew her name. Sweet girl. Awesome service and awesome food. Fried pickles are to die for. My pineapple margarita was amazing. We will be back!“
“You have to go experience this place in person. My friend heard about it from some coworkers. We pulled up on a Friday night, and we had a blast. My friend ate a Philly and she said it was delicious, I had some fries and they were also good. We danced and sung the whole time. If you drink like a fish, they got what you need. If you don’t like smoke at all, heads up , there’s smoking . I don’t smoke , actually hate cigarettes BUT the experience wasn’t killed by the smoking. Wendy was amazing! And the guy over the music is a great DJ.“
