Guieb Cafe Reviews
Husband & I was very pleased with our waitress. Wished I knew her name. It’s our 1st time eating here & she recommended some plates. I had left overs so I signaled her for a box & she came back laughing because I looked like I was doing “baby shark”. She made my day & I will not signal baby shark again at any restaurants. **sigh**
Anywho… We will go back to try other plates. Yummy food, Awesome service & perfect atmosphere!!
The beef stew is absolutely disgusting. I got one potato in the beef stew and it was a very large rock hard potato that was undercooked in the middle. there was very little sauce. the meat was fattier than most beef stews and just had a very rancid flavor. our server was the manager. I told her the potato was undercooked and the meat had a very strange flavor. she got a terrible attitude with me and told me she would take it back but that I would still have to pay for it. no big...read full review
Delicious food! The gravy for my country fried steak was absolutely delicious. Whenever we vacation back in Oahu, we will definitely come back. Such a comfortable and clean restaurant.

Guibe Cafe, located behind Cutter Ford in Aiea, is a small restaurant open for breakfast and lunch. They provide good quality food at moderate prices and are known for their excellent service. The menu features popular dishes like the Loco Moco with Wagyu beef burger, crab cake, and fried rice with gravy, which are highly recommended. The Ube Marscapone Pancakes are a favorite, praised for their perfect flavor balance, and the pancakes are considered some of the best on the island. Their strawberry salad with delicious strawberry vinaigrette dressing and pecans is also well-liked. For vegetarians, there are about four or five large salad options that are satisfying. The restaurant can be busy, especially early in the day, so arriving early is suggested to avoid waiting in line. Though the space is a little cramped and not ideal for wheelchair access, the large portions and good reputation make it worth the wait. They offer takeout options and have plenty of parking. Guibe Cafe is very child-friendly, making it a great stop for families. The restaurant also offers a happy hour with a 10 percent discount. Overall, it is highly recommended for anyone visiting Hawaii.
