Been coming here since 2012. Food always good since day one.
Great place for a quick bento.
Went here with a couple friends for the first time and it is fairly expensive, looking at the prices, luckily the lead of the bridal party was paying since she made the reservation, otherwise this is one place I wouldn't have been able to touch for a while. As for the food, it's good. It's just your simple hot pot, we went for the basic ichiriki soup base with the PorkZilla Nabe.

Ichiriki Aiea is a cozy Japanese nabe spot that hits the mark every time and has been a great place for years. It is fairly expensive but the food is delicious, good, and always very good. The broths are rich, like the basic Ichiriki soup base, and the ingredients are fresh. The quality of meat is great, from tender meats to flavorful veggies and a good assortment of vegetables. Every bite feels like comfort in a bowl. The happy hour special set completely exceeded expectations. Popular items include the PorkZilla Nabe and the tofu salad.
The service is great, usually good, quick, and attentive, with servers who are so kind, helpful, and try their hardest. The vibe is perfect for a warm, communal meal. The restaurant feels very clean with a nice environment and an old school Japan vibe. Seating includes Japanese floor seating, which is comfortable, and regular tables or booths, which can be quite uncomfortable. It is a must-visit when craving delicious hot pot done right and the perfect dinner spot for a treat. Many leave full with leftovers for a second meal.
