“1/7/2022 My super sweet pal sent us two Mandoo Kook Soo bowls for dinner. She texted me that she did so at 5:33pm and when I looked at the link, it said the order would be delivered in about an hour. The food was delivered by UberEATS at 6:08! We saw on our camera that the delivery man put the package on the mat, stepped away, used his phone, and then left, so it was completely contactless. The Mandoo Kook Soo was delicious! The broth was tasty and not oily and there were a lot of pieces of meat that were thick but tender. Lots of green onions and egg too! And the Mandoo and noodles were the perfect consistency & not mushy. This Mandoo Kook Soo was a real treat! The pic I took of the food looks even better than the photo that they had on UberEATS. I'll have to try this place the next time I go to PearlRidge.“

“Korean restaurants in Hawaii no longer serve side dishes like they used to, but this place serves delicious dishes.
It's best to make a reservation for lunch. Everything was delicious. The cold noodles and short ribs set were delicious. Even if it's not a set, it will fill you up.
Parking: Parking in the back is free.“

“Fantastic bar b cue place in Mililani Town right next to the fountain. I had the beef and it was delicious. Can out on a cast iron skillet with all the sizzle. Came with the 5 sides that were perfect for the Beef. Solid Korean influence and well prepared meal.
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options. I took a photo of the menu
Parking: Huge shopping center but you need to walk a few hundred feet to get to the restaurant
Kid-friendliness: Rice and needle option. Some chicken made to order
Wheelchair accessibility: All ground level. Easy to get around“

“Quality Korean food near the airport. Ample paid parking with validation. My personal favorite when I'm waiting in the area.
Food is great quality. Good portion sizes.
Moderate pricing for the area.
I would suggest it as an alternative to the cellphone lot when waiting at the airport and you are hungry.
Kim's special is good. You get two choices of sides. I had kimchee and chap chae. Kimchi had good spicy flavor.
Parking: Validation
Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoor seating for wheel chair accessible“
“This place has good food! We went there 30 minutes before closing and we were worried we wouldn’t be able to get food so close to closing time but they did serve us and didn’t give us any attitude. We would definitely go here again. We had the meat jun and zucchini jun plate- so good! 10/10.“

“Yooncy is our family go-to Korean dinner place! The man is a hard worker and was sad when his wife passed away in recent years. She was the sweetest lady. You can still see sadness in his eyes but trying his best to keep up the family business. Anyway, we go there because we love the food! Our favorites are: Yooncy Special w BBQ chicken, kalbi and BBQ beef plus meat jun. Plus all the Korean veggies and kimchi!!“

“Delicious food, generous portions, good service. You really should visit if you're hungry in Kaneohe.
You get rice, a protein, and four choices of ban chan (veggie sides like kimchee or cooked bean sprouts).
The ambiance is definitely "greasy spoon", but the food is really good quality, and, since its take out only, you're only there for a few minutes, the dated decor is not really an issue.“

“First time eating there. It went well. Lots of things to choose from. Now that I have experienced Sorabol I will know more about what to expect.
2025: I have been told that the restaurant will close end of February for renovations. I was also told that the owner may choose to retire due to the projected time for renovations to be completed. A nice restaurant. Hope it reopens.“

“Love the cucumber kim chee. Large cuts. The mac salad is perfect, not salty and not heavy yet creamy. I can taste and feel the ingredients used are high quality. The next morning my body felt good (no swollen face). They don't use MSG. I love "I Love K-BBQ."
Vegetarian options: My college aged daughter is a vegetarian. She was super impressed with the veggie selection. She ate her entire veggie plate and two scoops rice.“

“This is my GO TO Korean BBQ spot on Oahu. This back alley, cinder block laden restaurant is a no frills spot that serves up some of the best meat selections. Ambiance is rustic, in a Hawaiian sense, and very casual. It can get smoky inside if the place is packed so be prepared to smell like meat and BBQ when you leave. We ordered the Jumolook and pork belly and both were great quality. I love that they provide the sesame oil dipping sauce without mention. All of the sides were very good too and of generous portions.Service is authentic and quick! Don’t expect much unless you’re proficient in Korean, but they’re a lovely staff.“

“At first there was a wait but it’s understandable due to it being a Friday night. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I wanted to say a big thank you to the staff especially our waitress Jada☺️. We celebrated my daughter Moana’s 4th birthday here tonight and we all had a wonderful time especially our birthday girl. If you guys go there be sure to ask for “Jada”. She has a great smile every time we put in an order and she’s very friendly. She really knows how to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. Thank you GEN for a wonderful night. We will be back for sure??.“

“Havent been here in a while, this is a no frills mom and pop run Korean restaurant located in the Nimitz/Airport shopping center plaza where Subway, Bale and Joe's Grille is located, been going here for over 15 years.
Prices are still good in this economy, their special combo plates are massive and run you a little over $20 but didnt want to eat that much meat ?
Called in my order so I didnt have to wait. The Korean guy answered the phone and if you dont know him, his english is limited and he doesnt speak much so could be mistook as rude....all good with that as ive been coming here for years?
Ordered a Mini Fish Jun, Mini Spicy Pork (both were $9.55 each plus tax.... Try finding a Korean plate lunch at that price) and a #16 combo with 2 pc Spam tenpura, Bbq beef, Bbq chicken, Shrimp Tempura and Mandoo... Winnahs for a little over $15 bucks.
Hit the spot, made my lunch run seamless. Cash and credit card accepted. 5 stars??“

“I am really surprised about this Pearl's Korean BBQ located in the Waipahu Shopping Mall next to Longs. I have been to other Pearl's BBQ (Kapolei) I have to say this one surprised me. The place was very very clean..I have been to the one in Kapolei, and their restaurant was dusty and the floor was not so clean...This one in Waipahu was wiped down. The walls and counters were clean. The prices are still HIGH, but it's the price you pay for Korean Bbq. The prices are high due to rising costs of containers, staff shortages, and price of meats, fish and etc.. The food is still packed in your plate, and it's served hot, and fresh.I ordered the Fish Jun and the Meat Jun/Fish Jun combo plate..Here you choose your 4 sides and it comes with 2 scoops of rice ? plus your entree. You can share the plate ?️ because the food is really piled up.I really liked this Pearl's Korean BBQ place because, It was a clean restaurant, two the food looked really good, and the server was really nice. Price per plate is between $12-18 reasonable and you get your money ?? worth.“

“Good plate lunch place.$16 for a regular and $13 for a mini.Recently, plate lunch restaurants are getting less and less, but this place is full of volume. And very delicious. You can choose 4 vegetables, but all of these vegetables are delicious. It may be the most delicious among Korean plate lunches.“

“I lived in Korea for six years. It’s hard to find that perfect beef and leaf joint you remember from your Sam gyup sal days in Korea, but this place can do it.#1. The staff is great. I enjoy seeing them every time I go.#2. They have the soju, the Korean beer, the makgeolli.#3 The BBQ is on point, the sides are delicious and the kimchi is always great. If someone doesn’t like this place, then they don’t like real Korean food. Plain and simple.“
