The food were delicious and presentation were so nice. Uncle's has been our go to when we have visitors since their old location at Pier 38. The whole family always loved this place, and their seafood are always fresh n cooked to perfection. All the best with their move in Oct.
Catch of the Day was marlin when we went for lunch the other day. No one at our table has had marlin before and we surely enjoyed! The furikake coating on the fish added some good savory, umami flavors to the dish. A couple side notes: 1). I wish the fish sandwich had an aioli or remoulade instead of tartar sauce to make it a more elevated dish. 2). The truffle fries need more truffle. The food and fish were really good! They had many fish decorations and a mural on the wall and the pipes on the ceiling. They had two fish tanks and a large selection of foods! Their bathrooms are really good and clean. They have good sensors and the taps for the sinks have a handle. I didn’t manage to get pictures but this was really nice! The service is great, with staff like Manu and owner Chad being absolutely amazing and super attentive. The food is incredible, with specific meals like the triple seafood, avocado crab salad, ahi trio appetizer, ahi sashimi app, shrimp & chips entree, and coffee crème brûlée all being delicious and perfect. The drinks are strong and solid. However, some reviews note the portions are not too big (American style), and the prizes are too high. One experience was not great, as the Ahi Tuna entree was not good. Despite that, the overall vibe is chill, and the restaurant is highly recommended for those in the area who are not in a rush.
