“A must-stop, the banana bread is SO good! Super dense and moist. Take a gander and watch the waves across the street while you eat your bread, lol. The line was long-ish (this is a popular tourist spot), but it moved very quickly. We also got their fruit smoothie and it was very fresh and good!

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of gluten free options. My fiancé with celiac got the fruit smoothie. Missed out on the banana bread, poor guy!

Parking: Parking scattered throughout the street. This is a super busy tourist spot as well as a residential area.”

“Having tried Naomi's cakes before, when looking for a place from which to purchase a birthday cake for myself, I knew just who to contact. Naomi worked happily with my idea and was open to all of my requests! The cake turned out lovlier than I could've imagined. Vould not recommend Bakery Boutique enough!!”

“Breakfast at The Restaurant at The Hana Maui Resort is fantastic. The food is delicious, service excellent and setting is amazing. Expect typical resort prices, but well worth the money.

Currently they only serve breakfast because unfortunately there’s not enough customers to support lunch or dinner. However, the Hana Ranch restaurant, also owned by the resort, makes up for that.

If you get a chance to eat here, and don’t mind splurging a little bit, definitely make the effort.”

“A brick oven or stone oven, with a wood fire. The magic oven is a must-stop for anyone who loves great food, combining the local dishes with international ones. The chef truly knows how to pair ingredients. I had two types of pizza, the Fugazza and Prochuto with arugula. Then another visit had empanadas, milanesa. A local man sitting next to me had the burger, and it was cooked to perfection. The Magic Oven is located next to Jaws Country store, so if you need a last-minute gift, that's the place for a unique one. If you don't know what you want to eat, ask the staff; their recommendations are excellent.

We have flights and accommodations reserved for a mid-June visit, and our rental house is just a short walk up Kokomo. Maui Booch, we're coming back and bring more family to become vacation regulars.”

“Stumbled upon this place on the road to Hana. It smelled awesome so we had to stop. The mixed BBQ plate was awesome. It had pork, chicken, rice and a fern salad. It was all so delicious. The guy working the grill was super friendly and cool. The seating is in old tram cars. The "plates" are big chunks of bamboo. The utensils are hand cut bamboo chopsticks. I can't say enough about how incredible this place was. It is a must stop on your road to Hana.”

“This place was well worth the wait. When I came in it was very easy and I had a 15 minute wait but the food was worth the time. I had the loco moco burger and it was delicious. We also ordered fries for the table and they were some of the best fries I have ever had. The interior of the restaurant was a little bland though. I highly recommend this restaurant even if there is a wait.”

“I love ahonui when I am in the mood for take-out that’s also healthy and made of whole-foods. I am not a vegetarian, but I really like the food here. I always get the protein focaccia sandwich and warrior cold-pressed juice. I also love their salted chocolate chip cookie when I am in the mood for a sweet treat. It’s large and on the chewier side!”
