Very friendly chef and staff. It’s so good we drive over an hour from Napili just to eat here. We went 4 times while on Maui. Stop in and support this yummy food.”

The food here is incredible - truly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The dough was perfect, the flavor was rich, and everything tasted fresh and made with love.

The staff made our experience even better.
Javier was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. He explained everything to us, helped us choose, and made us feel like special guests.
And the chef who prepared our pizza (I wish I caught his name!) deserves a huge compliment - he made the most delicious pizza I’ve had on the island.

We even received a little gift from the staff, which was such a sweet and unexpected touch.

“Breakfast at The Restaurant at The Hana Maui Resort is fantastic. The food is delicious, service excellent and setting is amazing. Expect typical resort prices, but well worth the money.

Currently they only serve breakfast because unfortunately there’s not enough customers to support lunch or dinner. However, the Hana Ranch restaurant, also owned by the resort, makes up for that.

If you get a chance to eat here, and don’t mind splurging a little bit, definitely make the effort.”

“Awesome vegetarian spring rolls fresh made to order, not premade frozen. We had dinner plans elsewhere so didn’t get to try more this time but will definitely be back. They also had every kind of Mexican and Asian hot sauce available on the island. There are complaints about it being slow but that’s because it’s all fresh made, this isn’t fast food and there are plenty of nice seating around to enjoy some down time”

“Stumbled in for lunch after intending to visit another restaurant nearby that was moving very slowly. Everything was amazing! Food, quality, service, fair pricing. We were greeted with a warm smile and explored some local dishes. The sweet and spicy katsu was great but the Mac salad was out of this world 😍 mahalo!!”

“Balai Pata is an absolute gem, and absolutely needed on North Shore / Central Maui in what’s otherwise a restaurant abyss of tourist forward formulaic burgers & fish tacos. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but it deserves way more recognition than it has received. I’m honestly shocked it’s not packed every single night. Their innovative fusion menu is both playful and thoughtful, with fresh, farm-to-table dishes that change often enough to keep every visit exciting. The staff are the sweetest aunties, making us feel like family and doting on our toddler every time we come. Our little one (and the rest of us!) can’t get enough of their malunggay (moringa) handmade garlic noodles. No liquor license yet, so it’s BYOB, which makes for an even more relaxed, homey vibe. Easily one of our favorite spots on the island - and I’m sure it will become one of your favorites too.”
