Once Gigi finished with our cake setup, the beauty of it literally took my breath away and I immediately became teary eyed because all the months of planning- phone conversations and text messages with Gigi that went into designing this cake finally became a reality!I really appreciated how responsive she was with me throughout the design process. I wanted to add on some things to the design a couple weeks prior to our event date and Gigi was very accommodating with that. Her attention to the small details on the cake were beyond spectacular. She surprised us with the center of our teal lilies spray painted with gold!The taste of the cake itself was phenomenal. It was light and very moist and the flavors of each layer was bold and tasted like the real deal. There were actual mango chunks and raspberry seeds in the two filling layers we chose which we loved!I also appreciated the other business referrals Gigi suggested to make this event one to remember. You know it must be good when the line up before they open consists primarily of locals. They never disappoint, thanks Komoda Bakery for always being a highlight!“

“We came across this place while driving around Maui one morning, no problem finding street parking. Once inside there was a short line and few tables still open. There was also the cutest store cat lounging on one of the couches, everyone stopped to give the cat some pets before ordering! Clean restroom, and the staff were nice, our drinks came out pretty quickly. We enjoyed a latte and an iced matcha, they gave me different options to sweeten the matcha how I liked so highly appreciate that! The breakfast bagels were tasty too. While it’s a little pricey, everything was good and we’d would love to come back here again!“
