Based on the reviews, Joel's Plate Lunch and Burgers serves fast and delicious food. The coconut shrimp is outstanding, with large, tender shrimp and a crispy coconut coating. The burger is fantastic, and the fries have perfect crispiness with a soft, fluffy interior. Other menu highlights include the garlic shrimp plate, the garlic shrimp and teriyaki beef plate, the smash burger, and the loco moco. The teriyaki beef plate is the best on Maui, with tender, flavorful beef. The sauce is great. One small suggestion is that the truck could benefit from a brighter, more inviting vibe. Joel is friendly and wonderful to chat with. The food truck has great music and great vibes. It is worth the drive to Hana.
