A must stop if you’re on Kauai. Some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. This nondescript place is on the main highway between Lihue and Waimea Canyon. Go to the canyon in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds and on your way back stop here for lunch. Great portions for a good price and did I mention the pie for dessert?!?!?! You can’t go wrong. A local recommended it and they were spot on. Enjoy. Mahalo.
If you are Chinese, my mom will sniff you out and gravite towards you just so she can connect and speak to you in Cantonese. The owners spoke Cantonese and my mom went to town speaking in her native tongue with them. That's how my mama rolls :). Fun find! This review is for their jeanduey (deep fried mochi balls). Some really good Chinese! The wontons and pork were very good. There's also a deli inside that has burgers. The Terri burger was very good and juicy. The baked good are also great.
