“I wanted to see what all of the hype was about Korean corn dogs. Korean corn dogs have a batter that is made of rice flour and fried in hot oil, so they are very crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, like fried mochi. Some of them have little cubes of potato mixed into the batter so they are like crispy French fries on the outside.I was very excited to find out that "Corn Dogs by Mr. Cow" in Hilo has Korean corn dogs and wanted to try them while I have the opportunity. They were terrific! Very tasty! Not healthy, but definitely fun to experience Korean street food. You can get a sausage on the inside or mozzarella or cheddar cheese, or you can get half sausage, half cheese. We got one Mr. Cow Classic outside with half sausage, half cheddar inside, one Fried Potato outside with half sausage, half mozzarella inside, and one Flaming Potato with flaming Cheeto crumbs on the outside. We also got the cheese balls. Piggies! Highly recommend for a yummy Korean street food experience!“

“honestly this McDonald's should be shut down by Ronald McDonald himself! McDonald's is supposed to be a charitable organization but yet this specific location is anything but charitable or compassionate or even employed by decent people. previously I have been rudely forced to unplug my phone from the outlet at this location when I was trying to load my McDonald's app in order to earn my points or even redeem my rewards. secondly there is no other way to log into my McDonald's account considering I was not allowed to charge my phone to login to my McDonald's account. now just to top it all off as I was walking by I noticed the drive-thru was blocked off and people were forced to reverse out of the drive-thru so I simply asked the employee outside what was going on and if everything was okay I was ignored but yet this specific employee could talk to everyone but me and I honestly believe it was because I am a foreigner to Hawaii because this specific employee answered everyone else who just happened to be a local or of the same ethnicity as them. the majority actually I can confidently say all of the employees are of Filipino ethnicity and I believe they would not hire anyone else of a different ethnicity. do not go to this McDonald's as I can confidently say they are prejudice and racist if you are not Filipino!“

“It's pretty typical of McDonald's in most towns. I do love McDonald's French Fries when they're hot. They make the best! They're chocolate shake was good. I had the McChicken sandwich. I have them make it plain as they always put too much mayo on it. It was good as I was starving! 🍗🍟🧋
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids eat here 😋“

“Pricy American Mexican food. Slow drive thru at 4:00 p.m.
Good black bean grilled burrito. Nacho chips with guacamole - small. Bean burritos, just o.k., a lot smaller than in the past. Soft tacos definitely smaller than in.past days.
Vegetarian options: Grilled black bean burrito is really good.“

“I got here at 630 in the morning. It’s where all the locals are picking up both breakfast as well as their lunches for later.
I asked them to make surprise me and put together a bento that would travel well on the plane. It did not disappoint! I was the luckiest person on my flight back to the mainland. What a treat. It’s great to see these places these old Hilo establishments still being an important part of the community.“

“Are you starved for culinary convenience, a flavorful facility & or an experience that's expressly designated for a serious chopstick chow-down?
Then look no further than one of our own, worst kept secrets, that's conspicuously located in the hearts and stomachs of downtown Hilo - Panda Express.
I'm telling you their portion to price ratio has, and will always remain, undefeated with my pocketbook.
However, let the record reflect, its the staffing that retains its customer and not just their succulent mushroom chicken, arguably...wink.“

“The best pizza I have every order from the Hut. Kinoole location you rock!!! Glad I chose to travel the extra few miles. Almost turned down pizza because the only time I ordered from the Hilo location (since their move) I not only got bad customer service but the pizza was nasty. The pizza tastied like garbage with a doughy texture like wet dog. As long as the Kinoole location is around I will remain a customer.“

“I hesitate between 3 & 4 stars, the thing is I love Taco Bell, I really do. However, I have walked in ordered one thing and waited 22 minutes for it on more than one occasion. Meanwhile I see cars go the drive thru & leave while I'm still waiting. They seem to prioritize the drive thru orders over the walk in orders... Which if you are drive thru it's great. But if you are walking in you may need to call your job and say you are going to be late, which is what I had to do. Please note I still love Taco Bell but if you are walking in without a half hour to spare, it's probably better to just keep walking.“

“I'm so happy to see Hot Dog On A Stick in Hilo, Hawai'i. It's been years since the last time I visited one, because they closed a number of their stores in California and in Maui. So today, I bought myself 2 Corn-Dogs, 1 Regular French-Fries, and 1 Large Strawberry Lemonade. It was super delicious ?. I will definitely come back for more. Mahalo Hot Dog On A Stick!?♥️“

“Update to decrease stars given. Went thru drive thru and the lady with the Asian accent owed me 5 cents change, she wasn't going to give it but times are hard, so I had to tell her she owed me 5 cents. Suddenly she got mad! and finally mustered change, she gives me a quarter and says HERE! oh wow. Sorry ah but a nickle is a nickle. Somehow the food didn't taste as good and the atmosphere sucked today.
Can't go wrong with Panda Express. In Hilo they have a drive thru but no chow fun on the menu. Price for 2 choice plate I noticed cost a little more.“
