I absolutely loved the pineapple fried rice and the fresh coconut — both were delicious. The service was great, and the location is perfect. Definitely recommend checking this spot out!

“May2025 Not exactly just one establishment but a well planned selection of restaurants that main centers on Japanese and then some few local purveyors. Arguably one of the best places to have a good casual meal in the city.

Prices are varied due to the diversity of stores from ramen, sushi 🍣, bar 🍸, lobster 🦞, seafood, etc.

Ideal for smal groups.

“there’s 5 palm trees at paradise palms (I counted with great difficulty) but the food is great for a quick pick up in between classes. don’t expect michelin stars here.

there’s construction to the south of this place as of writing (Oct 2025) so beware of the noise.“

“I always get my Korean burrito when I come in here. Absolutely delicious. They do good with substituting the rice for lettuce supplement. It's nice and savory and hits the spot. I always get the ribeye burrito with garlic chips made spicy so it has jalapenos“

“The shrimp and burgers were delicious! I was extremely disappointed with the 11$ soft serve ice cream though it was so inedible that my 6 year old sugar addict actually wouldn’t eat it. 😳“

“The scenery on the drive to this place is amazing. Palm trees swaying in the wind against a clear sky. The large flat parking lot is stress-free. Now it's a fruit smoothie 2.99 It's very fresh and delicious, and it's made with 4 kinds of berries. Also, Pepsi in a cup bigger than 1.5 venti hot dogs!“

“Great place for great food , drinks and people. Meet a variety of people here local and tourists from all over the world. Great band on Wednesdays. There’s like 8+ restaurants in the food hall and 2 bars. I’ve tried 6 of the restaurants and would recommend them. Food is great. Bartenders are super friendly, Lee, Michelle or Jess will all make your day more pleasant. Don’t forget to ask Lee to show you some magic!“

“Stumbled on this place right off base around lunch time. This “shack” is no fast food joint. Everything is made to order, so it takes about 10 mins to get your food after ordering. But the wait is well worth it!

We ordered the pangang curry and Thai boat noodles. Both were flavorful and fresh! For $12-$13 per meal, this was a large helping. I will say, the Thai boat noodles did have some chunks of lemongrass, cloves, and other sneaky flavor bombs that can get intense if you aren’t careful to pick them out.

“Seriously best garlic shrimp we have had on our trip! Just sad we found it on our last night here. We ordered 6 plates and our groups was fighting over the last bits of sauce soaked rice! Steak was cooked perfectly. Salad was great selection of crisp fresh greens with the right amount of dressing. Mac salad was plain-the way it should be! Why ruin a good thing and add tons of stuff! And the shrimp! Onolicious is the only word I can use. It was garlicky without being overwhelmingly garlic. Mahalo! Hope we get back soon.“

“I actually visited the second floor of H Mart Kaka’ako because I heard there was a food court and there is! Amongst a variety of places to try Giovanni Shrimp truck has a location up there, great for when you don’t want to drive all the way to the North Shore. My shrimp plate was just as good as the original truck! Go check it out!“

“The burger was good but the meat was kind of thin, and the fries were too thin for what you pay for. It is overpriced but I would go back as the food is good. There isn't much seating, especially when it is Saturday at lunch hour, it took us longer to find a seat to eat than it did to wait for my food.“

“Simple and very delicious Italian food. The pizza and pasta with a choice of combinations are both delicious. I think this is the taste that Japanese people like. The portions are about Japanese size, so if you want to eat a lot, you might have to order sometime.“
