Japanese Restaurant Aki Reviews
I stayed in a Waikiki hotel and I did try a lot of the restaurant there. Compared to most overprice restaurants in the Waikiki, this restaurant is really a steal with pretty high quality. I extremely enjoyed miso butter fish bento, Kitsune udon and shrimp tempura combo. I didn’t have the chance to try items on the yakitori menu since I arrived in the noon but there are a lot of kudos for those.
Hidden gem of a Japanese restaurant. Fantastic quality and value. Huge menu with everything executed well and seasoned perfectly. If you want to eat local and seasonal seafood, this is a un-missable option!
Showed up at 4pm for happy hour. Was offered only til 430pm as far as I understood it. Food and service quick and attentive. We ordered 2 yakitori plates, Japanese omelet, ankimo, shishamo, agedashi tofu, sashimi. Also had a green tea drink.Would be back. Would probably recommend reservations if u really want to eat here.
