I grew up eating KC Waffle Dogs and was very happy to have a nostalgic meal after so many years of missing it! This place has a charming quaint atmosphere of a family kitchen and the staff are very friendly to match. You should check out this hidden gem.
Some of the nicest dudes I've ever met-- everyone greeted me when I walked in and we all made small talk while I waited for the order. One of the guys offered me a sample of an excellent coffee blend he'd put together; I'd definitely recommend a cup if you're looking for a nice pick-me-up after dinner, as it's clear he's no amateur to the craft. He also gave me some advice on making a good batch of cold brew at home, which I always appreciate.

Ono Ono shake is the bomb! Brings back memories! The hamburger was also juicy and the hamburger bun was soft and tasty. Generous serving of Saimin! Saimin broth could've had more flavor, but shoyu should help.
Everyone is friendly! There are a few spaces to sit by the kitchen and there's ample seating in the nearby hall.
