You’ll pay a little more but it’s worth it for cooked-to-order tasty food. I have never been disappointed. I can’t come everyday but their French fries are better than McDonald’s and come in generous portions, their mini portions are filling for one, their regular portions are good for 2 (or 3) meals. They’re closed on Sundays because the laundromat customers next door fill up the common parking lot but there are a lot of other options in Kaimuki including the L&L...

They make their own hamburgers, not that frozen stuff. The orange chicken, fish sandwich, and chicken katsu are good too. It’s a really a takeout place, so don’t plan to eat there.

Each L&L taste slightly different so try find one you like and stick to that one location. (LnL has 30+ locations) When there's nothing else, go to LnL for BBQ chicken BUT ORDER with BROWN rice as they have to cook u a FRESH plate. sometimes they will give u a plate (white rice) that someone ordered but never picked up...
