About Hawaiian Airlines Plumeria Lounge

The Plumeria Lounge offers a warm and welcoming Hawaiian atmosphere, with attentive staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. While the food selection is limited, it includes light meals, snacks, fruits, and a variety of beverage options, including local Hawaiian beer, hard water, and wine. The fridge is well-stocked, and the lounge is clean and well-maintained, with good Wi-Fi and ample power outlets. Vegetarian and dietary-restricted options are available, and guests can enjoy poke as a nice surprise.

The lounge is small but efficiently managed, though it can get noisy with disruptive kids, screaming babies, and the staff's infectious laughter. There is no storage for items, which may be inconvenient for longer waits. Open until 10pm, it’s a decent spot for a short wait before night flights, though some may find it too basic or out of the way. Recently, it no longer accepts Priority Pass, which was disappointing for some visitors.

The food options are limited but include seared ahi and pulled pork on a Friday evening, with wine and beer available in a self-serve bar. The lounge was uncrowded around 9pm on a Friday, making for a quiet experience. However, some guests found it less impressive overall, citing uncomfortable seats, overcrowding, and the absence of a full bar. Despite having hot food like beef and rice and chicken gumbo soup, some visitors felt it was too warm inside, even with fans running, and hoped the new, larger lounge opening in 2027 would be much better.
