A very clean restaurant. Everything tasted freshly made from the vegetables to the soup dishes. Seems like most patrons ordered soup dishes. Had the pork/noodles soup dish and it was delicious. The ong choy stir fried vegetables was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Hidden in the Chinese Cultural Plaza, my friend Matt suggested we have lunch here a few weeks ago….specifically to enjoy the Salt and Pepper Pork, a dish which I love. There’s nothing fancy about this place, but I have to say the pork was delicious and the service was friendly. Served on a mound of rice, the pork was seasoned nicely, super tender, and made me want to keep eating and eating. We had lunch at this cafe and we were surprised with the food! It was busy too! The won ton were amazing and the roasted duck too. The char siu was a little too sweet for my taste and had a lot of fat. I think I would try their ginger chicken instead.
