Tai sei was in business for years but in this last location maybe about 15 years per the worker. it was sad for any business closing and I want to come here to support for the last time. You can miss the place if you were driving too fast but the parking lot was just before Alapai Street on Beretania Street on the right. Always great yakisoba, gyoza, everything on their menu is awesome. Wife, family, we have been visiting this place for decades and always enjoyed. Whenever we're in town for something during the day, this is our preferred stop to eat. Wife and I had lunch there today and found out they will be closing permanently next week Friday (Apr 15). Our hearts are broken.

I have passed by Tai Sei Ramen numerous times on Beretania Street, but have not actually eaten here until today. I was in the mood for local-style saimin, but wasn't feeling like walking to Kalihi to get it! So I stopped by here, and I was not disappointed!
