The restaurant was very very good but what definitely stood out was Kylie, the waitress. She was really engaged and represented the restaurant perfectly. We really appreciated her honesty and patience (she answered all our questions with a lot of knowledge especially about allergies). Thank you!
One of the highlights of my trip!! Kylie, Jenna & Derek are absolutely incredible! Very sweet, friendly & helpful! Highly recommend!!
Kylie and Jenna were the best pool side servers. Knew our drinks orders the second day we showed up. Always friendly and Kylie went above and beyond to help charge my phone after we checked out!

The Grove Restaurant & Bar, located at The Modern Honolulu hotel, provides a cozy atmosphere with stunning sunset views. The restaurant is poolside, offering amazing views that enhance the dining experience. While prices may be higher, the menu items, including the sesame glazed wings and ube pancakes, are enjoyable. The poolside experience at night is highly recommended, and the staff is known to be friendly and helpful. Although some guests did not care for the poké nachos, others found them to be fresh and a hit. The restaurant has a cool vibe, especially in the evening, making it a good spot worth a visit.
