Came here with friends during their happy hour window. Ordered several udon bowls with sushi rolls. Beware that the udon bowls are huge. Also whether you order a regular or large, there is no price difference. Udon was bouncy and cooked well. Sushi rolls were not great. Bland and rice was a bit undercooked.
TsuruTonTan gets a solid 5 stars from me, mainly because you get a ton of food for your buck, and their happy hour is a real deal, shaving a few dollars off each dish before 4:30pm even hits. Service was super quick, which was a nice touch since it wasnāt too packed. We tried the cucumber salad, shishito peppers, and the cold spicy beef udon ā all pretty solid choices. I actually liked the udon here better than Marugame, mainly because of better udon texture. The Currey udon was fairly good, although it doesn't stand out as anything too special.Came here for lunch special and it was pretty solid deal. Locals here get additional discount which is nice if you come over with someone who's local.
