We visited the Feeding Leaf Kitchen on our last morning in Kona and arrived right after they opened. They didn't have everything out yet, but the staff was so nice and let us know about a few items that were about to come out and while we offered to wait a bit longer they insisted on heading to the back to grab some of the items for us. The food was delicious. We went for breakfast and many locals were getting their lunchbox made. The musubi (sp?) and Hawaiian breakfast were fantastic and filling. The family owned restaurant was very welcoming and everyone was kind and helpful.

Amazing food, amazing service, amazing place!! All of the food is legitly delicious. I'm rating this place a 5-stars because of how unexpected this place was in terms of their variety of foods, delicious of food, and their amazing staff. We originally just got the Ube pancake and the loco Moco + Ala carte of the ginger miso pork... but then we added on the Korean fried chicken, fried spam musubi, and I think a few others.
