“My family loves Donut King. It’s nestled right inside Kailua town. They have a wide selection of donuts and croissants from filled to unfilled. They’re generously sized and delicious. Did I mention these donuts are also warmed? Salivating. You can head next door to Morning Brew for a hot cup of coffee too.“
“Amazing good service nice people, the donuts are to die for and you can watch them make them fresh for you. Really chill ambiance, relaxing and delicious. If you are visiting must visit, we live here and come regularly. Good prices as well.“
“I built a donut wall for my daughter's wedding. The donuts and service was excellent! 72 donuts were not enough they were gone in 30mins! They even gifted us two heart donuts for the bride and groom without even asking. It made their day. Mahalo!“
“Wow, Purve Donut in Honolulu totally blew me away! These donuts are seriously the fluffiest, yummiest things ever. I mean, they're like little clouds of happiness in your mouth. Whether you're into classic glazed or feeling adventurous with their specialty flavors, every bite is just pure bliss. The vibe in the shop is super chill, and the smell of fresh donuts is just heavenly. Seriously, if you're in Honolulu, you gotta swing by Purve Donut. It's a total must-stop on your trip – your taste buds will be forever grateful!“
“I love this place more than I should. I drive from Ewa to this place whenever I get a craving...We always get the mochi donuts. They are perfectly soft and chewy every time and we enjoy the various flavors that they come out with. They are pricey for just one donut, but as a special treat, we find it's worth it .The staff is very friendly, and offers tasting of the different flavors so we know exactly which ones we will want to get.The inside doesn't really invite you to stay, but that's ok. We usually like to grab and go anyways.“
“I'll start by saying that I don't typically like donuts. I just don't see the hype. However, I have enjoyed most of the donuts I have had from Little Vessels. I especially like that they are vegan because I am no longer eating dairy. They have a lot of great classic flavors and some interesting flavor combos as well. I also like the texture of these donuts. My only issue is that they are pretty sweet, so a little bit goes a long way. If you don't like really sweets foods, these might not be for you. It's worth a try, though.“
“I really like this store. I have a 5 star ⭐️ rating because I really love it. The only thing is I called at 1pm they said their Cinnamon rolls were done I had to go back and forth 3 times just to get them. Cause they never make it yet. Workers kept saying 30 minutes I waited more than 1.5 hr. But over all is good. I think the owner wasn’t there. I know if she was there it’ll be all good. Yeeey from 1pm to 4:55 it’s finally done.“
“Donuts, the sweetest way to start your day! Sweet is the love language for many, if not for everyone. A coworker picked up some warm, soft and fresh donuts for a staff relocating to another location. It was a sad day but with these mouth watering and sweet dreams sends a signal that OMG just makes you so happy and a delight to be around people. The s'mores is my first choice followed but cookies and cream. A must have donuts for any celebration! Note: I can't say much about the ambiance since I didn't pick up the donuts myself.“
“Usually people visit Leonard's as a place to order their malasadas, but all of a sudden Pipeline takes a higher spot than Leonard's. Pipeline and Leonard's are fairly similar except Pipeline has more variety (bakery things besides malasadas.) The service was good, there was no order mistakes and actually didn't have fermented tasting yeast flavor like Leonard's did. The environment was OK, but could be better because there wasn't exactly seating. Otherwise overall, Pipeline is good.“
“I came here because they said it was the main store, but it is definitely fluffier and softer. It's nice to have warm malasada donuts. If you take out, you don't have to tip, and the cream is less sweet than I thought, but I still think the original and cinnamon are the best.Lihing has an interesting slightly salty taste.“
“Planning one day ahead for Girls' Day, I remembered the delicious Stawberry cream mochi my friend had given us, and ran down to this new mochi place on University Ave next to Nijiya Market. Loved the free one hour parking in the lot and that I was able to run in and out. It's more of a mochi production room with many hands busily making mochi, which then get packaged and placed onto the counters for sale. I loved that they had cool items that I had never seen or tried before like the sliced strawberries on cream and azuki beans and mochi on a skewer. Both pretty and delicious! I mistakenly thought Ube crumble would have sweet potato in it, but the Ube is in the purple mochi outside and the crumble is chocolate cookie inside. I also grabbed the strawberry cream, a chichidango set with various colors and flavors, their popular peanut butter mochi, and a cute little Girls' Day 3 piece mochi set (with a sakura mochi, the pink, green and white diamond shaped mochi, and a strawberry mochi) in a heart shaped box. I was very happy that they stuck Girls' Day stickers on the boxes to honor the day. Their mochi is soft and thin and the cream is not too sweet. It met all my Girls' Day mochi needs! Service was friendly and patient as I tried to decide what to buy.“
“Legit Malasadas! No shop, just a food truck behind Kalapawei Market in Kailua —this spot dishes out super tasty Portuguese goodness! These are baked to order and come out so warm and soft. It’s hard not to eat 3-4 yourself in a matter of minutes. They had red velvet ones wirh icing on Valentine’s Day too—really good. The guy working the truck is always welcoming and nice.Highly recommend if you’re in Kailua to swing by and pick yourself up a dozen—you won’t be disappointed!“
