I bought Obanyaki today at Times Supermarket in Aiea. Some of the Obanyaki looked like it wasn’t baked long enough. Especially the vanilla custard.

Other non-fridge options include filled mochi balls like red bean, ube, peanut butter, and mango. The ube with lima bean filling is a favorite. The mango mochi and cookies and cream are also mentioned as amazing. The mochi stays soft for a couple of days, making it perfect for gifts. This place is all about tradition and is well worth the trip.
