I order the Jungle Curry, prepared medium with chicken, and Sticky Rice. It is vibrant and packed with flavor—the perfect blend of coconut milk, carrots, cabbage, lime leaf, and basil made for an incredibly smooth and comforting dish. I wish I knew the recipe because I haven’t been able to find Jungle Curry, or any Curry for that matter, that comes anywhere close.

“I found Sala Thai one night after work. I love thai food, and this place is darn good. I've been here over half a dozen times in the past month and have tried many dishes, and each dish I loved. The pad thai, fried thai wings, drunken noodles, BEEF SALAD, spicy thai fried rice, red curry, salacurry, and more. . . All delicious. I love thai Hot, and they make it THAI HOT, which is awesome. My favorite thing about all the delicious food is customer service. Each time I go here, I get 5 ? service. If you're looking for a good hole in the wall place to eat, have a mixed drink or beer, or even shoot pool (one pool table), this is the place. Plus, they're open until 2am most nights.“

“I recently visited "King of Thai Boat Noodles" in Oahu and tried their Pad Kee Mao (Drunken) Noodles- both vegetarian (Tofu) as well as chicken options (because we had to visit this place twice ♥️) - medium spicy and seasoned them with some chilly vinegar, hot sauce and chilly oil. Noodles were perfectly cooked and had a satisfying spice level. The dish was absolutely delightful and practically melted in my mouth...ohhh my mouth started watering! The portion size was generous, making it a great value for the price. If you're a fan of Thai cuisine or want to become one, I highly recommend giving the Pad Kee Mao noodles a try!
Staff were also exceptional. They greeted us with warm smiles and friendly faces. Service was prompt & attentive, with the staff frequently checking into everyone.
The great part is because they have lots of visitors, they have posted a paper & pen right in front of the door to let you write your name & number of people with you, and they call you on your turn when the table is ready.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

It's perfect for a small group (about 2 to 4 people) to go out for a quick meal.

It's like a comfort food to me now. I'm just a bit disappointed this time because the meat was really tough. I had to really chew it. The other foods are good; nothing stands out like any other Thai restaurant. Their papaya salad Lao style is not as good as other restaurants that I've been to. “Outside of Bangkok itself, Bangkok Chef is on point with Thai food. Everything we ordered was very authentic and delicious. Having been to Thailand many times, it is quite a delight to find a gem like Bangkok Chef where they make real Thai food. Not customized to the American palate but real Thai cooking where you can actually smell the galangang and the Nam Pra in the food.
The lady who served us was very polite, professional and very attentive. One step ahead of us.

The fresh watermelon juice was perfect on a warm day. We ordered spring rolls that were light, delicious, and unlike anything we’d had before. For the entree we enjoyed mung bean noodles and Thai red curry. Both were superb. On an island known for amazing restaurants, Chao Phya Thai manages to land at the top of our list of favorites.
