I heard that Chi-Chan's was closing, so I rushed over to make sure I got some food before they closed. When I got there, they had a sign that said they are closing from Dec 15, 2023 - Jan 1, 2024 and they will be stopping Okazu-ya style and turning transitioning into selling premade bentos. Headed to the windward side I was told about the okazuya called Chi-Chans. Small store but big flavor. Ordered fried chicken, tempura, vegetable tempura, hash, and egg. Let's just say, the best places to eat are usually the hardest places to find. Chicken was juicy and had lots of flavor. The hash was just as good as any other hash. So if you're ever on the windward side, check this place out. You'll be happy.
