“You won't believe the amazing 60th birthday party my uncle had at this place! The food and ambiance were absolutely incredible! We had live Hawaiian music played by my boyfriend, and our entire family danced the hula all night long! And let me tell you, that roast pig was to die for! It was so crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside...you have to check out the video I took! The location is unbeatable, right by the ocean and next to the Prince Hotel in Waikiki. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this incredible experience!“
“Fantastic Indian food. Not just fantastic for Hawaii. Fantastic Indian food period. We randomly stumbled onto the place and then it became a main stay for us during our stay. My 70 year old mom was astonished by the dal tadka and wanted to know the recipe. That is how good the food was. The chef is amazing and super kind. Can say he really cares about his art. Such a gem. Definitely try it during your stay in Honolulu.“
“***Located on Level 3 on top of Cheesecake Factory***Very comfortable area for a meal. Pretty confusing to find, the management for Royal Hawaiian Center should really do a better job at advertising this place. I only saw two small signs to go upstairs, but where? The Food Hall wasn't even advertised on the information screens! When searching, it said "your destination does not exist." Please fix this so that these businesses can thrive! Our meal came from Allegrini, I've been wanting to try them for a while, but could never catch them downtown for lunch. This place did not disappoint. We're planning to visit the rest of the vendors at the food hall in the coming weeks.Parking: Park in the Royal Hawaiian garage, validation with $10+ purchase at any of the stores.“
“Stix Asia is such a cute spot! I highly recommend if you're not quite sure what you want. They have a diverse selection of noodles. From Japanese ramen, soba, udon, shabu and more! They have an excellent selection of restaurants to try.“
“The Lanai is the newest spot on this list, having opened the last week of October. It’s the third (and ritziest) food hall at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Occupying the old Shirokiya department store — some big shoes to fill — the Lanai consists of 10 vendors (four are currently open, six are opening later this year). Expect to find poke and sashimi plates from Ahi & Vegetable, Japanese pastries from Brug Bakery, and udon, soba, and katsudon from Sobaya.“
“When I visited, a Japanese female staff member was making it. He is a very pleasant person. The seasoning was very delicious and suited Japanese people. The cashier can also speak Japanese, so you can purchase and eat without stress. Since the store has a food court-like feel, you can eat authentic and clean garlic shrimp at a low price, so it is recommended! (If you've ever eaten garlic shrimp eaten in a kitchen truck, you'll agree with the cleanliness aspect.)“
“Best brisket I've had including many BBQ spots in Texas. Awesome mac and cheese. I had the combo and couldn't finish it all. My wife had the kalbi, and it was also moist and delicious. The guy working was fast, friendly and did a good job.“
“We ate for 2 for under $50 with cocktails! That's a hard find on the strip. There are multiple restaurants in the food hall. It's located on the 3rd floor of the shopping center. We tried Potama, Burger Wiki Wiki, and Five Star Shrimp. I was really impressed by Potama, for $5 this is definitely a bang for your buck type of meal! The seaweed one had a sweet and savory umami flavor that I loved. The garlic shrimp was amazing and for only $15.5 you really can't beat the price. There are other restaurants in the food hall so I'll definitely be back before the end of my trip.“
“The BBQ Pork Plate was absolutely terrific! Much obliged to Chef T and the rest of the crew here! It's an awesome place to get some chow, whether if you're really hungry or if it is a snack. The folks here always do a fantastic job preparing and creating the delightful dishes here! Keep the awesome work folks! From Brient :-) !“
“The famous $10 (okay, $9.99) roast beef sandwich from Costco! It's a cold sandwich weighing just over 1 lb. Quite a bit of roast beef and it's not bad but not the tastiest. The mayo/mustard sauce and relish aren't too strong and the roasted tomatoes are pretty good. The bread is just right, not too soft or hard. Lots of lettuce though. You'll probably want to add some cheese or other condiments to really spruce this sandwich up but, all in all, it's pretty tasty! Probably (?) as much or more meat than a foot long from Subway so the $10 price is actually okay. It'll make two meals worth for sure unless you're really hungry. Won't go out of my way to get it again but it's definitely one of the better options at the food court.“
“Meataly Boys was another spot I got to check out at the Waikiki Food Hall. This spot specializes in Hawaiian and Japanese dishes. We tried the Yakinku Beef Plate, Spicy Chicken Plate as well s the Pork Chop Plate. Our entrees all came with rice and salad. Overall the plates were very fulfilling and also good for sharing. I did think the beef was slightly on the oily side and enjoyed the chicken more. When we came here; they were having a bit of trouble getting the credit card reader to work but despite the wait; service was good and they were polite. Overall enjoyed a good hearty meal here!“
“This was money well spent. Prime rib and roasted chicken were excellent. The best buy we've had in this Makai Market Food Court. The food was excellent with a nice balance by offering salads and broccoli with our meats, and servings were generous enough to feed two people! Will definitely come again.Vegetarian options: Corn, broccoli, salads, coleslaw salad.“
“Is there such thing as a calming food court? You certainly need to take a moment in the Pa'ina Ko'olau Food Court as many malls have food court this one was designed with the inspiration of the 'aina or the land in Kaneohe. From a distance it's absolutely stunning as my favorite obviously is the waterfall streaming down in the vibrant shades of blue with waves or I guess skies hanging right above is so zen like which I think represents the waterfall off the Ko'olau mountains. With placements of plants, flowers and motifs representing each items found on the windward side is just spectacular. The crafty side of me was going into overdrive if you look closely at some of the storefront counter are elements of the plants like Ulu, Kukui, and Hala. The circular tile mosaics of a honu turtle and tako is just so stunning! While you're here grab something from Bullkogi, Blazing Steaks, Chinatown Express, Cookie Corner, Subway, Hot dog on a Stick, Papa Johns, Lemongrass Kitchen, Orange Julius/Dairy Queen...and yes it has WIFI!!Yes it's a food court but this vibrant gathering place is just a fantastic indoorsy place to enjoy your bites with the feel of what the Windward side is all about.Thank you!“
